"So can I put a few up or nah?" Blake leaned in front of Momo and snapped him out of his silent shock. "U-Uhm..." Momo sputtered. He dared not to take another glance back in the window because that would possibly cause little Blake to make a connection if he was actually reading his flyers. "I'll hold onto this one, and you can come back later for an answer 'kay?" He quickly stuffed his panic under wraps for just a few moments for the boy and put on one of his signature silly grins. "Aw man! So that's a no.." Blake groaned. "Hey, I said you could come back!" Momo laughed and crossed his arms, careful of his work-in-progress. "Yeah but when you say that, you usually turn me away with a no!" Blake huffed and turned on his heel. "Bye Blake." Momo leaned forward and around his bowed windows to watch the kid stomp away in search of a new window to spread his news.
Momo uncrossed his arms and returned inside. "What was wrong?" Meran asked, studying Momo's face and feeling. The phenomenon of the weird color waves that happened at the 3 Dies was expected to happen, but all Meran could sense off of him was an air of worry. She wondered quickly if it was only a one time occurrence. "So.. pretty sure you two are wanted by the government... congratulations?" Momo smiled awkwardly and held up the sand-colored flyer. "WHAT!?" Feiten screamed which earned a flinch out of the other two. He snatched the form out of Momo's hand as he was told to not be so loud. He held it so close to his face that an outsider would think he needed glasses to read it. After her moment of processing what Momo said, Meran's eyes slowly widened. "H-How..??" She stood up, still wielding her wrist limply and got up on her top toes to see the form. Momo had sat back down to finish his part of the tattoo. "Was that boy handing out copies of these-?" Meran got down once she had read the descriptions to stare horrified at Momo. "Yeah.. Blake is a news boy for various news organizations and Æterna... I know damn well that he doesn't read what he's passing out, only that he enjoys being able to do something helpful for these big time names.." Momo sighed.
"He actually shouldn't be doing any of it, he's only like 12 and Rika would kill him if she ever-" "It was that guy from the bar!!" Feiten looked up from the page suddenly. "That guy that Torain said to not look for or talk to!!! They said he worked for them!" He looked down at Meran who had let her wrist drop gently. "She said they were gonna search our place..!" Meran whispered, and stared up at her brother. The real weight of their situation finally sunk in. She was dangerous, and she was going to drag Feiten down with her for what she didn't want to be. A similar silent panic started to settle in her gut, and it felt like a worse feeling of tingles and butterflies.
Momo noticed and had finished his tattoo in no time flat, and similarly put a clear patch on top of it. Meran could physically feel the air Momo behind her shift. She looked back to the chair that Momo was sitting in, to find him standing and coming towards them, however with his eyes a inky black and a vibrant green. "If there's a chance that they're going to search your place," He began and caused Feiten to also turn around. "I'll give it to you guys straight as a seer. Don't go back to your place because there's an even bigger chance that they're waiting for you guys." Feiten tensed up, because he was pretty sure that this was his first ever time face to face with a seer. Yes, there was the murder in the alleyway, the police files of his fathers death, being around Torain and Kaisen, but this was his first time seeing a seer up close and in their true nature. "As a business owner, I can't house you guys. And last as your friend, I happen to know a place where you guys can stay for at least the day." "Why can't you keep us here..?" Meran asked, a bit scared of where he was going to send them. Momo sighed and frowned sadly at her. "I've already kept too many people in here that's gotten me in trouble.. It's actually a bad habit of mine."
"Oh great so he's just looking out for his own skin..." Feiten threw his hands to his face and dragged them down. "Fei! You would do this kind of thing too!" Meran snapped her head at him but he was too distressed to even notice this time. "Trust me, I really really want to. I can't help it. But I'm in an area that's in the weird spot between Jakko and Nabora. There's wayyyy too many government hires around that I don't want, and even though you're adorable and I wanna keep you forever, I can't." Momo smiled, really trying to lighten the mood a bit, even though the two had just learned of their impending doom. Meran also threw her hands up to her head, but very gently on her wrist. She then registered that he actually said what he had been accused of, and looked back at him with wild and confused eyes. "Here, look." Momo quickly changed the topic with a sneaky pull of his lips and lifted her wrist as a prince would a princess and placed his left wrist next to hers, though it was a bit awkward to make the designs line up properly. The almost-complete band on Meran was then completed when Momo had fixed it with his. He then bent down slightly to look her face to face. "I think that you two are gonna be fine. I don't think the person I'm sending you to will be very happy, but you just gotta bully him into being ok with it." Momo smirked at the thought and finally ruffled Meran's hair. She didn't appreciate it much and tried to keep it serious, but his expression and gesture made her feel better. "F-Fine.. Where are we going?" Meran patted her hair down and tried not to think of all the possible outcomes that could wait for the two. "It's more inside of Jakko, but that's why it's better than here." Momo pulled out his phone and brought up the directions to a place Meran least expected. A fashion store. And an extremely expensive one at that.
