Only 3 POVs left and I'm so happy to finally introduce Mey-Rin. I was itching to post her POV because she's my favourite character in the Black Butler manga. The decision to have Mey-Rin and Finnian join the Phantomhive servants was deliberate because I wanted to try something a bit different. I do hope you enjoy .

It was in the evening that this meeting took place. In a darkly lit office full of smoke from hookahs and cigars. Two different clans. The Qing Bang and the Ferrero Gang. The Chinese Triad and the Italian Mafia. Both from different countries but all with the same goal.

When the leader of the Ferrero Gang, Azzurro Vanel, contacted Haku, the Chinese man was hesitant to meet with him. He wasn't sure if he could trust the Italian mafia. In his mind, they were known to be untrustworthy backstabbers. And he was almost certain Azzurro Vanel was no different. A perfectly good reason why he had four of his men standing behind him. Relaxed and reclined against the wall but guarded, with their guns at the ready to fire if this Vanel bastard proved to be a threat. And four more standing near the entrance to his office, including his best assassin, the Owl. While Vanel, who now sat before Haku, at the opposite side of his desk, only had two guards with him. The bastard was confident that Haku wasn't just going to shoot him where he sat.

Azzurro Vanel had the typical appearance of an Italian mafia leader. Dressed in a fancy white and purple tailored suit and with a lit cigar sticking out of his mouth. Of course, the Italian bastard was a young blonde cocky little shit, with stubbles on his chin and a large diagonal scar on his face. He had many piercings - one on his right ear, three on his left ear, and two on his left eyebrow. If Vanel tried anything, Haku would be sure to have fun tearing those piercings from his flesh one by one. And Haku wasn't exactly a merciful and patient man.

"So, I hear you wanted to see me," Haku said. "What is the purpose of your visit?"

"I'll cut to the chase," Vanel said with a cocky smirk on his face. "I want to form an alliance."

Haku raised an eyebrow. "An alliance?"

"Your clan is the most respected in the Limehouse District," Vanel said. "And the Ferrero Gang is also the most respected in Buck's Row."

"And for that reason alone you believe we should form an alliance?"

"Oh no, I'm not nearly finished," Vanel puffed his cigar, more smoke filling the room. "I wish to form an alliance because we both have a common enemy."

"Oh really?"

Vanel smirked once more. "Ciel Phantomhive."

The room fell into an eerie silence when the name was mentioned. Everyone felt a pang of discomfort. However, the only one who seemed confused was the Owl. This was the first time for Owl to ever hear the name Phantomhive.

"You know the name Ciel Phantomhive, correct?" Vanel asked.

Haku let out a deep sigh. "I'm afraid so, yes. Most people of the Underworld know that dreadful name."

"Then I have a true reason for wanting to form an alliance. No thanks to him and that bitch queen of England, our drug trade has been plummeting. And I know you're suffering through the same problem, as most drug lords are."

"Indeed," Haku nodded in agreement. "Ever since the queen approved those horrible pharmaceutical restrictions, it has been affecting my business. I can't trade opium in the Underworld without having it confiscated. And I already lost a dozen men to Scotland Yard. They're either still in jail or got deported back to China because some of us came here illegally. I assume you also face the same problem."
