Sebastian soon returned with the delectable pie and steaming tea. Yet, an unsettling sensation washed over him as he failed to detect his master's presence anywhere within the house. The absence of the young master left him with a foreboding intuition that something might have gone awry.
Without hesitation, he made his way to the study and promptly tapped on the door. "Master, I brought you your pie."
There was no response.
Even for a little brat like him, the young master would always answer at the sound of the knock.
Realizing that something wasn't right, he gently opened the door to the study and peeked his head inside.
Sebastian's worst fears came true when he discovered that the young master was nowhere to be found in his study. It was as if he had vanished into thin air. To make matters worse, the entire room was in complete disarray. Books and papers lay strewn across the floor, chairs were haphazardly thrown about, and the drawers of his desk were left open and discarded like worthless junk.
Sebastian sighed. The rats were here and took the master with them.
"My goodness," Sebastian said while looking over the mess in dismay. "This is terrible...The refreshments will go to waste now."
