You become aware of talking nearby.
"Y/N. Y/N! Can you hear me?" It's Fitz. You don't want to respond, but you hope that he can understand that and you just keep thinking...I can...I can...I can...you crack open your eyes a little and squint from the sudden light. Relief floods his features.
"Elwin's coming. Keefe hailed him. Don't move, okay?" He commands. You just make a mumbling sound in response.
"Mmm." He grins.
"Leave it to you to still be alive. Sophie's here too." Sophie's head comes into view.
"Hey." She said, tired but happy. Elwin's head pops into view too.
"Wow, twice in two months? You've got something on Sophie's record! Open your mouth for me." He pours a vial of liquid into your mouth, and the world goes white again.
You open your eyes slowly. You see the hand painted mural on the ceiling of your bedroom at Everglen. The door creaks open.
"Y/N?" Relief floods through Biana's voice. She jumps onto your gigantic bed and bounces up beside you.
"Hey. Long time no see. Wait- aren't I supposed to be hating you right now?"
"Nah, me and Sophie made up. Hold on- let me get Elwin. Be back!" She runs out of the room.
Weird.
"Hey, look who's alive!" Elwin chooses to walk round the bed instead of jumping on it like Biana did. He flashes some orbs of light around you, then gives you the all clear. He walks to the door and opens it, and almost everyone you know falls inside the room. You scramble out of bed to help them, and Sophie grins and you.
"Hey! Ready to go on a hike?"
