Christmas Eve...

I O L A

Yesterday was a big blur, apparently I was all cute. Yet I don't seem to have any recollection of that at all.

No cute giggles.

No night gown.

No Teapot bedtime story.

Nothing at all.

Atleast I was cute though!

"Lolly! We have to get the best, best seat. Otherwise we won't be able to see the screen!" It was around midday and me and Andrea had been with each other the whole day.

Rushing around doing anything that would suppress our excitement for the Gingerbread making competition later.

We were so gonna win!

I had high hopes, yet I did take into account that Elijah got straight 9s and 8s on half of his art projects so that might be a downfall of ours.

Fingers crossed they play nice.

"Let's sit here, we can be close to the radiators." I pat the spot next to me where I had just jumped onto. I sunk into the sofa, Drea pulled a blanket over us.

Making us extra cozy in the corner.

Then Elijah's family began trickling in. And no, I hadn't really made any effort to talk to them. I didn't feel the need to.

Even though it was awkward, I didn't want everyone to be fussing over me especially with my eye in such a state. Many questions would be asked, and I can't be bothered to answer those questions.

Plus, I already have a semi-family and I don't want another one.

Not to forget they are a royal, I would probably end up looking like a fool trying to splutter my words out so they dont shout. 'Off with her head!'.

Then Sophia waltzed in, ushering everyone to sit down. Making everyone feel welcomed and comfortable in their spots, some on the floor some on the sofa or the chairs dotted around.

"So we have three movie options, these include" Me and Drea made sure to pay attention, we need to get the movie we both want to watch. Otherwise we wouldn't be in a good mood for making out Gingerbread houses.

"Elf, The Grinch and Home Alone!"

We shared a look, yes thee look. The look to make sure we both picked the same thing. Which we both knew we were going to anyways.

Three.

Two.

One.

"Elf!"

"The Grinch!"

Sharing a gasp of disbelief, we both found ourselves- along with Sophia- who chuckled with us.
