New Friend

Sitting on Eli's lap, I held Fai and my new found friend, Cher.

I had to amazing idea to get me and Daisy matching animal best friends, we all need one! Plus I heard Eli talking to Uncle Max and he said she isn't happy.

Probably because she hasn't been seeing me!

Cher became orange because she ate too many carrots, she didn't understand 5 a day so she ate five carrots a day until her skin turned orange! Eli told me and I felt so bad, but after a few cuddles she's okay.

"Remember, when we see Daisy we aren't going to jump on her, why?"

I spoke confidently, "She hurtin'" he gave me a very brief update on her situation. She had been in hospital for nearly a week, and we finally came to see her.

"You too can head up to room 235 now. Please be respectful of your noise levels, she is very sensitive." A nurse came to the waiting area for floor 2, giving us clear instructions.

"Will do. Thank you."

"No problem, have a nice vist."

I sat on his waist, watching people past by giving me big smiles. "Hi!"

I waved to the people walking by, they all looked so sad. They need a hug. "Lola, inside voices."

"I am..." He pinched my thigh making me giggle. He opened the door, and the smell of medicine flooded into the room. I covered my mouth and noticed the horrid stench of the hospital, "Stinky."

His hand patted my back, I tried to cover Fai and Cher's mouth but I couldn't focus due to the smell. "Look at me, baby." He put a blue mask on my face, making it considerably better to breathe without the distinctive smell making me want to gag.

"Hey man." I heard Max's voice making me excited, "You okay? You look horrible."

They did a handshake and I finally got a few words in. "Hi Max, you 'kay?"

He smiled at me opening his arms out for me. I immediately jumped into his arms excited to see him. "I'm better you both are you here,"

I was about to ask about how he is but he shut that down and started talking about me. He seemed extremely closed off, "Who is your new friend?"

He pointed at Cher, "Oh, she for Daisy. Ate so many carrots, and, and now she's orange!" He looked just as shocked as when Eli told me. "That's cool, Daisy is going to love it."

We talked for a bit more until he sat me down on one of the sofas in the room, the room was very big and spacious. So a spot near the window was ideal, the smell was much fresher.

Me, Fai and Cher were having a blast. We got Cher ready to meet Daisy, I hope she's okay.

She wasn't in the room right now, but us three were ease dropping on Eli and Max's conversation.
