The boy, or man I should say

Left his home, his wife, his mom

By the mountains there were stairs

Covered in the rugs of snow

Through the forest leading up the way

According to his prophetic dreams

He glanced back to see, his home,

Counters of his village, its bright sun

The green fields, where small bugs lived

There, when night comes, their songs

Are melody for people, animals stop by to hear

The boy remembered in the distant past

Obscure time, when he couldn't speak

They sat in the front rows, to see all colors in their show

For the final time he enjoyed the cold sea breeze

Held his necklace and with words

"My dearest sister, do you remember how we smiled?

I beg you, give me your hug; It is all I need now"

He started climbing up the stairs

Into snowy forest, a steep road

If he slipped, he would fly down

Thousand meters to the ground

To be a part of mother earth

Hence with every step

A cautiousness move one is required to make

Otherwise Ölum will visit your grave

While the blizzard tried to tackle

With all of nature's might

Snowflakes bit his face

Wind tried to make him blind

Each step became more stiffer than the previous one was

Energy to stay stead on his feet

Was a lion's share what most people able to endure

But with necklace in his hand

He felt warmth

Did not step back

With smile on his face and all force that he had

Not even for seconds did he stop

Even to make a breath

Through the hurricane of tundra

He started hearing voices of small kids

They are laughing

Strangely enough he could hear them distinct

Even when nature tried to damp his senses

The roar was impossible to ignore

A bear of snow, a mighty force

The roar spread his presence and bloodthirst

The kids are screaming

The boy begun blitz towards the sound

Careful? The word he forgot

Falling down – the risk – increased while he gained haste

In the end he reached the top of the stairs a path visible got

Footstep on snow, almost covered by storm
