"I am, try to be nice and you do this to me!", in anger he screamed
"Stop the masquerade!
I know who you are!
You came here to use me and my sister!
She's naive that's why you took your chance!
What did you do with her?
What have you mixed in her food?
She never felt so bad before!"
"I did nothing
Did you even speak to her?
Asked why she feels so bad?"
I don't need to speak with her to see you are bad influence!
My father said you looked with lust at my little beloved sister!
At her ass
And her body!
Disgusting!
And he still likes you!"
He had so many things to say
But because so many thoughts
Wanted get their way out
He couldn't say something
Only face expressed frustration
But I heard a child crying in the distance
I glanced at the sound
But he rushed to the sound
At same moment
When I came
I saw
In the ancient wood, a towering tree,
Its branches swaying in nature's glee.
The tree has fallen, crushed the little kid's legs
With an axe in hand, a man drew near,
To sever ties, the sound so clear.
Each strike echoed in the sylvan glade,
A dance of life, a symphony played.
Yet fate, capricious, took its toll,
The giant fell, crushing his soul.
Emerging from the arboreal embrace,
Bruised and broken, seeking solace.
Soft words, a balm to calm the strife,
An arm across the back, comforting life.
"It's alright, my boy," in a gentle tone,
Erasing shadows of fear, a kindness sown.
The tale unfolds, a childhood play,
A tree's descent, tears mark the way.
Amidst the trees, in silent sorrow's embrace,
The boy, bowed in tears, a pain revealed in grace.
"Will I walk again?" little one's voice, a fragile plea,
Within the woods, doubt whispers, a chilling decree.
The man stands, helpless in his silent stance,
Amidst the forest's hush, a hesitant dance.
"Can I regain my steps?" the kid implores,
In the woods, uncertainty echoes, truth explores.
A tableau of shadows unfolds, a sorrowed scene,
The answer hesitates, a cold and haunting sheen.
The man, caught between doubt and mourning's art,
In the forest's heart, silence builds its tower, tearing apart.
The man glanced at me
I did not know what to say
What to think
