How I Wasted My Summer Vacation

Summer was over. Kinda. Technically the season was still Summer, but Summer vacation was over.

And just like that, you were a senior in High School.

What a transition this was.

But you weren't even thinking about that stuff. School was the last thing on your mind.

Sabrina: The leaves will be changing soon.

You stared up at the trees that stood over you both. You were laying on a blanket besides each other in the woods where you had first met. It was now August, meaning everyone would be coming back just in time for school to start back up.

But you had just spent the last three or so months with Sabrina. Just the two of you.

How weird.

Y/N: I like it when they change. It's looks nice.

Sabrina: Yeah. Me too.

Time really did fly by when you were having fun. And what fun you and Sabrina have been having.

It was really like all your worries had just left when you were with her.

But Riverdale always had a way to throw things into the ringer.

This time, it was your phone dinging to tell you that you had a new message.

Sabrina watched as you sat up to pull your phone out to see who it was. To your surpise, you saw that it was Archie and Jughead in your group chat.

Sabrina: Everything good?

Y/N: Yeah. It's the guys. I guess they just got back and want to meet at Pop's.

Sabrina sat up and dropped her head on your shoulder to read the text.

She knew this would come eventually. Your friends were always going to come back to Riverdale. But she had kept you to herself for three months.

Sabrina: Go.

You lowered your phone and Sabrina lifted her head. You both stared at each other for a moment in silence.

Y/N: You sure?

Sabrina nodded.

Sabrina: Go ahead. Besides, I have to help my aunts with their.....stuff.

Click.

Yeah, no idea what that stuff was. Turns out they were trying to summon some kind of spirit to talk to it something? I learned just not to question it.

Click.

Y/N: I....okay.

Sabrina pulled on the collar of your shirt and kissed your cheek. She then got up to her feet and dusted her skirt off.

Sabrina: By the way, are you going to tell them about us?

You knew this question was coming. To be fair, you had told her about your friends enough for her to get a good picture of them.

And in truth, you just didn't know how to.

Y/N: I don't know.

Sabrina: Because of how they are?

You nodded.

Y/N: Archie will for sure tease me, Jughead would turn it into an interview, Veronica will bug me for "all the details", and, uh, I don't even want to think about what Betty would say.

Sabrina: Yeah, I get it.

She then smirked as she leaned back down until her face was mere inches from your own.
