Amberose: You should do best to be on your best behavior. The next time something like this happens, it'll be up up you two to figure it out.
You and Sabrina watched as Amberose pulled on his hat before he turned to you.
Amberose: Is the holding spell gone?
You nodded and pulled down your shirt collar to show him that the mark was gone. Well, kind of. There was a bit of an outline but Sabrina said it should fade away.
Amberose: Good. Well, the High Council has agreed to drop the bounty. You are free to go. I must also take my leave now. I have much to do.
Sabrina: Cousin, wait!
Amberose stopped and looked back to his cousin.
Amberose: Yes, what is it?
Sabrina: Well, it's just....regarding the murderer....
Amberose: He is not the High Council's problem. Unfortunately, I cannot help you regarding that matter. I'm sorry, Cousin.
Sabrina lowered her head. She was really hoping that Amberose could help with it in some way. But maybe he was right. Should that really be your problem?
Yeah, you saved the witches from a monster in the woods. But you were still just a kid. A kid with 9 fingers.
Amberose looked at the two of you one more time before he hummed. He turned away and started to leave.
He stopped when he reached the steps.
Amberose: Regarding your relationship.
You and Sabrina both looked up.
Amberose: I'm happy for the two of you.
He then walked out of the common room without another word.
And just like that, Winter Break had officially begun.

Sis: I told you!
Katy: Yes. You can stop saying that now. It was fun. I love singing. You were right.
The two ate spaghetti at the kitchen counter. Your parents were currently visiting a friend across town and you were still gone. That meant Sis had to make dinner.

Sis: I learned a thing or two living in NYC with Katy. She can't cook to save her life.
Katy: I'm sitting right here, you know.
Sis: That's why I said it.

Sis spun her fork around to collect some of the noodles while Katy watched.
Sis: Plus everyone loves your fah-shun~
She placed the food into her mouth while Katy nodded in agreement.
Katy: And they're already stalking me at Mags Rags. So if didn't make sense to hide anymore. Plus, it was pretty fun to see Y/N get all embarrassed like that. It makes me want to tease him more.
Sis looked at her sister with worried eyes. She knew she didn't mean anything weird by it.....well, she didn't mean it in a weird sibling romance way. She just liked picking on you.

Sabrina: I think it's cute. I never get to see you embarrassed like that.
Besides, I always thought that was just how siblings were. Always picking on each other.
