We all face adversity sometimes.

Maybe it's an overbearing parent, a fear of public speaking, or even bad eating habits.

For Jughead, it was getting assaulted in the woods out of nowhere in the middle of the night.

After managing to escape the clutches of this mysterious attacker, Jughead found himself running to escape through the forest. The only light he had was the moon from above.

Jughead: Help! Police! Friendly creatures of the woods! Anybody! Please! Help!

Jughead ran as fast as he could, but his pursuer was fast. So fast that when Jughead turned to see where he was, he was mere feet away.

Jughead: Ah, shi....

Wack!

Jughead suddenly found himself running right into a low hanging branch. This knocked him to the ground unconscious. His attacker walked over to him and examined his body.

Then, he grabbed his legs, and began to drag him into the woods.

But this is fine, right?

Surely his friends will look for him when you all realize he went missing.

Right?
------------
Sabrina: Hey, did you ever text Jughead about how his questioning was going?

Y/N: Yeah. He just said it went well.

Dad: No cause for concern, then.

Y/N: Nope.

You took another drink of your hot chocolate while your mom and dad talked to Sabrina. This was nice. Her finally meeting them and them actually liking them. It was kind of a relief to have her actually talk to people who were also a part of your life.

Sabrina: Oh, it's getting late.

Mom: Is it?

Your mom looked at her watch and sighed.

Mom: I suppose it is. You have one more day of school this week.

Y/N: It's cool. I can take her home. I owe her a ride anyway.

Dad: You do?

Sabrina: He lost a bet we made.

Mom: A bet?
~~~~~~~~
Sabrina: Whoooo! That's four in a row!
You just groaned next to the arcade machine.
~~~~~~~~
Y/N: I don't want to talk about it.

You just grabbed the extra helmet you had hanging and held it out to Sabrina. After she said goodbye to your parents and thanked them for the drinks, you both walked outside to your bike.

Sabrina: It's really starting to feel like fall now. I love it!

You did too. It was a nice break from the summer heat just before winter snow. But it was still chilly right now.

So you offered your jacket to Sabrina. She gladly took it.

And just like that, the two of you were off. Sabrina held onto you tightly as you rode through the streets. While anyone could recognize you, no one could recognize her. It worked out kinda well.

And Betty and Veronica wouldn't see you. Wherever they were.
-----------
Betty: Okay, now this is crazy.

Betty sat in the passenger seat of the corvette while Veronica watched the school's toolshed with binoculars.

Veronica: What? You think I'm going to give myself a milkshake headache trying to figure out who it is and not catch ghem red handed? Besides, we have good intel thanks to Kevin.
