Avielle
I sat in a booth watching as Cali talked to one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. I tried telling myself I wasn't jealous and the drinks were just getting to me, but I knew that was a lie. Her body looked amazing in that dress and all I could think about was ripping it off of her.
Was I weird watching their whole interaction? Maybe. But I couldn't manage to pull my eyes away no matter how hard I tried. She had completely consumed my thoughts in a short amount of time and I wasn't sure why.
A very unhappy Cali made her way back to the group and I couldn't help but wonder what happened. I turned back to the mystery woman and caught her already looking at me. Her eyes traveled up my body and I couldn't help but smirk as we locked eye contact. That didn't last long because my thoughts were soon interrupted as I heard Cali's voice.
"Earth to Avi, stop staring and come on. I need another drink," Cali ordered as the group began to walk away.
I looked back at the girl, noticing her attention was occupied by the brunette talking to her. Shit, there goes the jealousy again.
"So Cali, what the hell happened anyways? I was having fun with Dylan, then here comes pissed off Cali dragging me away." Luxe spoke
"I wasn't her type."
"And what exactly is her type?"
"Apparently, Avielle, I caught her checking her out." Cali said laughing as she took a sip of her drink.
"She looks familiar but I don't know where I know her from."
"Skylar Montgomery, lucky for us, she's one of our new bosses come monday. Her ex happens to own this very club, so you've probably seen her here before."
I glanced back at the bar stool where she previously sat only to notice she was no longer there. What are you doing to me, Skylar Montgomery? I asked myself as I threw back a shot of tequila.
...
I couldn't be more shocked at how well the night has gone. Usually the shows I've walked in were beyond stressful, but surprisingly, everything was pretty calming. The first show went pretty smoothly, which I expected nothing less given the fact that Sky and Mav are pretty amazing when it comes to work and now I'm in hair and makeup preparing for the second show of the night.
I made my way towards Taylor since she was assisting this show as Dylan walked.
"Are you excited?" She questioned as she laid out my outfit and accessories.
"Honestly, I would be lying if I said I wasn't, but the nerves seem to be coming back no matter how many times I've done this."
My mom pushed me into modeling when I was quite young. She claimed my beauty deserved to be seen and that she didn't want me to grow up and get involved in my father's business. My brothers, however, got the chance so whenever we moved to the US, modeling became something I did full time, with a little bit of film on the side. By the time I was 15, I was in hundreds of different commercials, catalogs, and other media shoots.
Most of my childhood consisted of work the majority of the time. I didn't have the privilege of going to school like normal kids, I wasn't able to branch out and explore sports or any hobbies I wanted to do. Don't get me wrong, I love modeling and I love my work, but sometimes I wish I had the chance to just be a kid and explore this world later on.
It wasn't until I was 17 that I found out what my father's business really is. I was told growing up we moved to America for privacy but it didn't make sense when I was plastered online for millions to see before I could even drive.
