"Why are you dating Peter if you knew that you were going to be someone else's mate?!" Astro yelled
I looked down shamefully "That was before" I spoke softly
"How long ago?" He harshly whispered
"About a week and a couple of days"
"Later, you are going to Peter and explain why you can't go out with him. Then you are going to put in this bracelet. You will then find out what it does. Then, you are going to go to a nice city place called Whiterun. All of the
Spirit-walkers are. By the time you are older, you will learn your lesson and we will come home"
I gulped Whiterun is in Ontario, which is where I used to live I thought. Will that mean I won't see Peter ever again?
"Uhh, how old will I be when we come back?" I asked nervously
"When you are old enough to mate, which is 16, to 18. Maybe older. But I expect no older than 18."
"I won't be able to see Peter for five years?!" I felt like I wanted to cry.
"But that won't matter. You won't be dating. I will be close by so you won't try to pretend you two broke up"
_______________30 minutes later_______________
I walked, dreading to see Peter for the first time. I fingered the stupid bracelet, I wondered what it did. I tested it out, by shifting, or at least trying. I couldn't shift come on dad, why'd you have to do this to me? I tried sprouting large white wings, which worked. I learned that only the wings would actually work. Ugh. I looked up and saw Peter, waiting for me on a log.
"Hi babe" he smiled
"Ummm, hi" I rubbed the back of my neck
"What's wrong?" Hi face dropped into a worried glance
"Uhh, well. I'm sorry Peter, I'm breaking up with you" tears started coming out
"What?! Why?"
"It's not your fault. I have to mate with another boy to unite our packs" the years fell faster
"No, your mine" he growled, almost like a dog
I shook my head "No, not anymore. Don't come looking for me, I won't be there. Don't call for help, because I won't come, I won't even hear you. I won't even be on this island."
I ran away, bursting with tears.

I packed everything, well. Most of my clothes and books. I pulled out my necklace from Pan and looked at it. I wanted to drop it in the ocean. It hurt to think if Peter. I tried tearing off the bracelet, but it only tightened when I tried to pull it off, then loosened when I stopped. I was so upset, I wanted to do anything to make the pain stop. I flopped on my bed, crying all day, until we had to go.

I looked at my pack, and then at Blue's. Together we had about 50 some odd pack members. Blue must have sensed my emotions, because he grabbed my hand, and smiled.
"It's ok, whatever happened, it's over now."
I smiled, "I'm ok, but thanks for cheering me up."
"I promise that I will be a great future mate"
He almost seemed happy that we were forced to mate. Oh well, Astro took of the bracelet, and we all took off, as many different animals, some birds, others bats and insects, but we all stayed together.

I walked into the giant house, well it was more like an abandoned hotel. Both the Alphas got the suites, with two left for the Betas. We were surrounded by a huge forest, perfect for our large packs. Blue and I got along really well, and started to date. For once Astro actually approved, and he let us both explore the pack territory. Every night I had the feeling that something was wrong, like I forgot something. In the distance I heard someone calling my name.
"Taylor! Taylor where are you?!"
I opened my eyes and used my heightened hearing. Yup, it was Pan.
After a couple of weeks, I didn't hear Peter calling. We cleaned up the hotel, and lived very happily. I missed my old life, I missed Peter, the Lost Boys. And even Hook. I took a walk outside with Blue, we held hands as we walked. We had made a tree fort in a clearing in the woods, which was a beautiful meadow, bursting with wildflowers and a stream running through the middle. I sat in the meadow with Blue, picking some of the flowers when I was a figure walking towards us. I moved so I was behind Blue, who growled defensively. The figure stopped, then kept walking. No later have I realized that it was indeed Peter Pan.
