The Five Mates

Meeting my mate

It was a cold October day being the middle of the month, almost November it was normal to be somewhat cold. I am 18 and in my last year of high school, I was on my way to school. It was almost 8 am and I had my brother with me. It was a private school made for the supernatural. My mom's sister owns the school. She has it where the kindergarten-3rd grade school is by the high school. So thankfully on days I am running late I don't have far to go. I got out of my car and went to unbuckle my brother from his car seat. When I got him out I smelled this sweet scent and I stopped in my tracks. I put my nose in the air and started sniffing the air. I looked at the woods where it was coming from.

-Time skip because it is just normal school stuff-

When school was over I was walking to the car with my little brother. I was carrying him because he just woke up from a nap when I smelled that scent again and I kept looking around for it but couldn't find where it was coming from. I shrugged my shoulders again and got into the car making sure Mike was buckled up. On the drive home, Mike was telling me all about how he learned his ABCs.

When I got home I opened the car door and unbuckled Mike. He ran to Mama since she had her arms open for him to jump into them. She kissed all of our foreheads and told us hi. Before I could walk away I was told to go to the kitchen since mom wanted to talk to me. I started smelling that scent again as I got closer to the kitchen.

"Mama! What did you need?"-I asked

I turned around quickly when I smelled that sweet scent again.

"MATE!" - we both said at the same time

She looked at me and started to run towards me. I picked her up as soon as she jumped towards me. My mom was just staring at us and she was just smiling.

"Mom?".

She kept smiling and then shook her head.

"I called you in here to meet her because we found her outside of the border. She was alone with a note attached to her". I growled and ended up scaring the little girl.

"I'm sorry baby I didn't mean to scare you"

she laid her head on my shoulder and purred. I looked at my mom.

"Is she a vampire?"-my mom nodded her head and then looked straight at her

"But I also believe she is part human"-She said

I nodded my head and smiled and kissed her on the cheek

"Mom, does she have a room to sleep in?"

"No hun I was waiting to see what you wanted to do since you're alpha now. "-I nodded

"Ok I am gonna take her to my room so she can shower and get some rest"

I didn't let her respond. I went straight to my room and led her into it. I went into the closet to get her some clothes and a towel and told her to go shower and get dressed then we can talk. After we talked we went to bed because it was already 9 pm and she was tired.

The next day

I walked down the stairs and decided to make us some food. I asked her what she wanted for breakfast. She said chicken with some noodles. I started making her a snack when I heard a cry. I ran towards my mate making sure she was ok.

"What happened honeybun huh?"- I asked

"I'm sorry sis I just came down the stairs and started growling bc I didn't know who she was"- she said

"where is your mate"- I asked

"right here"- she said and pointed.

"Come here both of you". -I said in my alpha voice

They both walked up to me and looked at the floor.

"Go get Kayla our brother and both our moms".- I told them

They went to get everyone I waited for when everyone was in the living room I spoke up with my alpha voice.

"Everyone sit down" Everyone sat down on the couch or the reclining chairs.

"Okay, guys I would like you to meet someone. Her name is Claire and she is 18 years old. She is my mate and a vampire. I don't want everyone to go crazy, she's still new to this"-I said

Everyone stands up and makes a line to meet her. Claire smiles and starts to get ahead of me but I hold her back and make sure everyone is not gonna overwhelm her.

"Okay, one at a time I don't want her overwhelmed" Both of my moms came up and gave her a handshake and a hug.

"Claire this is my mom Suezy we call her Mama, and this is my other mom Carol we call her Mom or Mommy," I told Claire

she smiled and nodded her head. She giggled and laughed, hugging my moms.

"Ok, weirdos come here" My sisters and their mates come up.

"Claire this is my sister Kayla and my sister Rara with their mates Rose and Shelly," I told Claire.

She smiled at them and gave them all hugs and handshakes.

"Ok, Mike it's your turn to come here" Mike runs up to me and giggles.

"Claire, this is my little brother Mike."

"Hi," Mike said.

"Hi buddy," Claire says.

I smile at them. "Okay, guys you have all met her and she is now part of our family." I looked at Claire and she looked sad. I took her to my room and shut and locked the door so we could talk.
