The Five Mates

The important talk

I sat on the bed and pulled Claire closer to the bed and she sat down. I looked at Claire waiting for her to start she just looked up at me sad. I picked her up and took her into my arms I asked Clarie what was wrong and she broke down crying I just rubbed her back and told her to sweat nothing, and she cuddled up against me. She told me she lost her family to hunters I held her up against me. She held me so close that I thought if she let go she was afraid I'd be gone. I kissed her forehead again and asked her to look at me.

"Love look at me"-I said

"Yes?" she said

"Do you know what your clan name was?"-I asked

"Blue Moon Clan"- she replied

I held her closer and decided to lay her down. I went to my mom and told her what had happened to Claire's family.

"Mom she told me what happened to her family"

My mom just looked at me and patted the seat next to her, I went and sat down next to her, and laid my head on her shoulder almost crying. 

"Her whole family was murdered"-I replied

My mom gasped and started getting tears in her eyes, I started crying too. My other mom came down the stairs, saw us crying, and ran over.

"What's wrong hun" asked my mom

"Her family was murdered"-I had to say

She rubbed my back and told us everything would be okay. I looked at the stairs because I smelled my mate. She was crying, I waved her over and my mothers wrapped her in their arms and held her. I smiled as she was being accepted into my family. Claire and I have to talk more but first, we need to eat and take a shower so we can get ready for school tomorrow. Since it is Monday tomorrow I must go because I have basketball practice.  

-A small time skip because all they did was watch TV and cuddle-

Mama was already making dinner and I went to ask if she needed help. She said no so I went to go find Claire and she was outside on a porch swing at an old house no one lived at anymore. It was supposed to be my home when I met my mate. I walked over and just sat there watching the sunset. Mom called for dinner so we went in and sat at the table. Mama made fried chicken with mashed potatoes. After everyone finished eating me and Claire helped clean up and went to go shower for bed. After we showered we just went to bed. The talk can wait for another day. It wasn't that important for tonight. I went to bed with one thing on my mind...My beautiful mate and her family.
