Three other mates?

It was a Friday afternoon, and we were getting let out early because there were rogues spotted near a border, so everyone decided it was best to keep kids away from that border for a while. We were just sitting and talking about how we needed to go to the store for some things. We decided to go out after school but right now we're in our last class of the day. For some reason, Claire has been acting really weird and different these past two days. I just thought it was her having a hard time with school since she came for two days, then had to take a month out. I decided to go today instead of tomorrow because we have a meeting with some people who are coming to live on the pack grounds. We gotta go to get some stuff for the house my grandpa gave me to move into when I met my mates. He did that for all of us, even my little brother. Unfortunately, my mom won't let me move in until we know it's safe like it's not gonna fall down since it's been a while. It was the last 20 minutes of this class when Claire started sniffing the air. I couldn't smell anything, so I just thought she was smelling some food.

"Claire love what you are smelling"-I asked

She looked at me and shook her head like nothing, so I dropped it, but it was weird how she did that. I was counting the minutes until the end of class. I was gonna get to the bottom of this. When the bell rang, I got my stuff together and put it in my backpack. When I turned around, Claire was at the door waiting on me. I grabbed her hand, and she relaxed. It was like she was waiting for something to happen. I got a text from my mom saying the people who just moved in are there and need to meet with me tonight. I texted her back and said okay but does Claire need to not be there?" She replied back, saying that she could be there, I just texted back okay. I opened the car door for Claire. She got in, and I closed it behind her. I went to the driver side door and went to get in when I looked at Claire, and she was staring at me. I started the car and put my hand on her thigh. I sighed and looked at her, then the road again.

"Okay we need to talk, we can talk now or go home and talk and shop later after my meeting or go shopping now and talk while shopping"- I said

"We can go home now and talk and go shopping later after the meeting. Do I gotta go to this meeting?-Claire said

I nodded my head and was heading back home when I got a voice in my head. It was my mom.

{-Baby, I know you're driving, but I got a call from the people who just moved in. They wanted to move the meeting up to 5 because their daughter started college tomorrow and she wanted to go shopping.}

{-Yea mom that's fine we're on our way home. Claire wanted to go shopping later instead of now}

When we got home, I smelled this sweet strawberry scent, but I ignored it and brought Claire upstairs to our room.

"Okay babe we can talk now. Why don't you tell me why you've been acting weird lately."- I said

Claire sighed. "Baby I smell our other mates. Idk if this is a joke or what, but I keep smelling this sweet strawberry scent, and my vampire wants to go towards it"-Claire said

"Oh honey I smell that scent too but I have been ignoring it we need to talk about this more later but we have a meeting in about 30 minutes so let's get dressed and get ready to head there."- I said

{-Baby they're here early. I just put them in your office okay, i'm with them now - I heard in my head and knew it was Mama

I didn't bother responding, but she knew I got the message. I got dressed in my "alpha clothes" while Claire just put on some skinny jeans and a crop top. She looked hot, but we both had to get out of the outfits that the school makes us wear. I pretty much own everything on the pack land since I am soon to be Alpha and the school my moms sister owns, I left that for her. I went to go grab the door knob when Clarie grabbed my shoulder and told me she smelled the scent again. I sniffed the air and smelled it, too. I told her that after our meeting, we need to find the source of where the smell is coming from. I headed down the hallway and went to my office door when the smell got stronger. I looked at Claire and saw that she was nervous. I opened the door and instantly looked at a girl who was maybe 19 or 20.
