"In with the new, out with the old" my ring tone, sang by my best friend, rings.
"Hey girl!" I yell into my stupid flip phone.
"I heard you have a date! Why didn't you call me right away?"
"Oh I, uh, well I didn't want to tell you"
"WHY NOT?"
"Cause it's with, Damion." The period after lunch I remembered Tatiana like Damion since 4th grade.
Nothing was said after that. She hung up. I walk over to my bed a put my face down into my pillow. "Great", I thought.
"Sam's here!" My mom yells through my door. Sam walks in and sees me sprawled out on my bed.

-Sams POV-
I walk into Raini's room and see her laying on her bed looking depressed.
"Are you dead?" I asked sarcastically.
She gets up and comes and hugs me. I hugs her back knowing she needs comforting right now. I love the way she smells. I couldn't tell her how much I love her.
"Tatiana is so mad at me about Damian"
"Oh I forgot about her liking him"
"I don't think I want to go to the game tonight"
"That's okay,we can just hang here", I lead her to her bed and sit her down.
"Thank you", she digs her face into my neck. We sit on her bed for a while in silence.
That's when things get kinda of good...
