Damion's POV
"Oh so this is the girl you've talked so much about!" my mom said when she saw Raini. Her comment made me blush a little when I looked over at Raini.
"From what I've heard, you're a lovely girl" my dad said coming into the family room.
"Well I think I'm ok. Not really 'lovely'" she laughed a bit nervously. I put my hand on her back comforting her a little.
"Would you like some breakfast Raini?"
"We already asked the chef to cook our breakfast" I chimed in.
"Oh! Ok then me and your father have to leave soon to catch our flight but Raini is welcome to stay as long as she wants during vacation."
"Thank you so much" Raini told my mother.
"Son, can I have a word with you?" my father asked motioning me to his study.
"Yea sure. Raini I'll be right back" I smiled.
Once we were in my fathers study my father looked at me.
"Why?"
"Why what dad?"
"Why does she need to stay with us?"
"She's having some issues at home..."
"What kind of 'issues' is she having?"
I explained the situation and he looked at me with an approving look."That was nice of you to help her".
"Thanks"
"How was your date?"
"Great! Can I go now?"
"Yes. I suppose."
I was walking out the door when my father said "be good while we're gone!"
I laughed and walked out to the dining room where my mom and Raini were eating and laughing.
