Imlie was having her routine morning call with her Amma. She excitedly blabbered to her about the previous night's event and her performance as she looked at the outside world from her balcony. It was not a bad view, but she was missing her swing. Back in the Rathore House, she usually always called Meethi while swinging, basking in the first morning rays of the sun.

"You really were very good, Gudiya," Meethi commented when Imlie was done describing her dance performance.

"How do you know, you were not there," Imlie giggled. Silly Amma.

"I watched, Your ABP sent me a video recording. He even talked me through how to play it. You know I do not understand all this technology stuff much."

Huh!

"He did? When? I don't like it when you talk to him behind my back!" Imlie pouted. "Why do you even like him, he's so grumpy?"

Meethi laughed, "why do you like him then?"

Imlie huffed. She really didn't like sharing her mother. But she was also sulking because she herself hadn't thought about showing the video to Amma, but he had. Hmph!

"Amma, did you like my dance?"

"I loved it, it was very beautiful. You are such a hardworking good girl, Imliya. You dance so beautifully and you are doing so well in your studies. I'm so proud about your results, and your Dadda is proud too.

"Tell him to call me sometimes then! He never calls me," Imlie complained. "Why is he so busy?"

"You know your Dadda is doing important work. Now listen, when you talk to him, don't start complaining about Aryan babu to him."

"Why not?" Imlie asked, confused. Complaining about Aryan was her favorite hobby.

"Your Dadda doesn't know Aryan babu, he wouldn't know what to believe and what not to. You are always exaggerating, Imlie."

"I never exaggerate! It's all true!" Imlie exclaimed.

"See, this is what I'm talking about. You want your Dadda to like your man or what?"

Imlie blushed a little at your man from her mother. "Amma you are becoming ajeeb, what kind of things are you saying. This has to be the influence of that ajeeb bikat prani, stop talking to him!"

"You are crazy."

"I miss you, Amma!"

"Feeling a little lonely, Gudiya? Living all alone in that house by yourself?"

"Very lonely," Imlie admitted. "You come here and stay with me."

"Imlie, the city does not agree with me, you know that. Plus I've three new calves to look after. Aryan babu had in fact asked me to go to Delhi to see your event but I just couldn't leave these new babies alone."

"Three new calves?" Imlie's eyes widened, then narrowed, somewhat comically, "Amma, how many cows do you have?"

"Five, without the calves," Meethi sounded pleased.
