Mizuto ran down the road. His body was cold, but he didn’t care. He just wanted to run away from this never-ending nightmare. He looked to his side and saw Azu who was running next to him laughing out loud.

“Of course it was Naru. Why didn’t I see this sooner?!”

“Why are you laughing?” He asked.

“Coping right now. Can’t believe the person that killed me was Aoi.”

“It wasn’t her fault. She’s innocent.”

“Sure.” Azu nodded. “Oh, watch out.”

Mizuto looked in front of him and jumped over a tentacle that was on the ground. He turned around and spotted Naru who was running after him. Azu was now gone. Mizuto turned a corner and ran into somebody’s backyard. Naru was about a minute behind Mizuto. Mizuto hoped several fences then stopped as he looked at a family outside sitting around a fireplace.

“Sorry-” Mizuto chuckled as he ran past them and hopped their fence.

After a little bit of running, he heard screaming behind him. He turned around and noticed the blood that flew into the air. An arm was sent flying and landed right next to Mizuto. The fence in front of him broke and Naru stood there with tentacles coming from her back. Tentacles started rising from the ground.

“You can’t escape me, Mizuto.” She chuckled.

Mizuto noticed a cut on Naru’s arm.

“That cut… that was from when I stabbed that tentacle back at Azu’s house…”

“Oh, this? Yeah. That hurt a lot. Good job on hurting your own girlfriend… Oh and just to let you know, I’m the one who poisoned that bar that Hiroko ate.” She whimpered.

“You little…”

“Shut up Mizuto. There’s no need to say anymore. If you surrender your body to me, I’ll let you live. Anything else ends up with you dying.”

“I’d rather die than live with you, Naru.” Mizuto started to run again.

Naru rolled her eyes.

“You’re such an IDIOT!” Naru screamed and tentacles were sent after Mizuto.

Mizuto jumped over them. He noticed a broken bottle on the floor as he ran. He stopped and picked it up. He slashed the tentacle that was about to hit him with the bottle. He heard Naru scream again.

“That’s it. Her tentacles are her weakness.” Mizuto laughed.

He slashed every tentacle that was sent after him. Naru wobbly walked out from behind a house and looked him in the eye. Blood dripped down from her forehead and chest.

“I-I’m gonna kill you Mizuto… there’s no point in running. Surrender. Please. I don’t want to kill you.” She started to cry.

Mizuto chuckled and looked her back in the eye.

“Naru. I’m officially dumping you.” He held the bottle out toward her.

Naru screamed and several tentacles burst through the ground and flew toward him. Mizuto cut the tentacle in half. Naru grunted as she spit blood all over the floor. Naru ran after him. She kicked the bottle out of his hands. She laughed as she looked at him. Blood kept dripping from her face. Mizuto turned around and started running again. He hopped a fence that was around the school property. He kept running until he stopped in the middle of the football field to catch his breath.

“Do you really want me to stain this beautiful ground with your blood?” Naru asked.

“Not really…”

“Then don’t make me.”

“I’m not joining you. There’s nothing that can make me.”

“That's sad…” She cried. “I really liked you.”

“That’s enough for now.” A voice said.

Mizuto and Naru looked up at the jumbotron. A girl with two black pigtails sat on it, smoking a cigar. She hopped off and landed right next to them both.

“N-No… I can do it on my own!” Naru begged.

“No. You’re far from it. You’re broken. You actually fell for him. That was where you messed up.”

“I-I can kill him. I promise… I’m a value to the family.”
“Shut up.” She growled at Naru.

The girl pulled out a katana and pointed it at Mizuto.

“Any last words?” She asked.

Mizuto started to run again.

She threw the katana and it penetrated Mizuto’s left thigh. Mizuto fell onto the ground and screamed in pain. The girl walked over to Mizuto and grabbed the katana. She pulled it out of his thigh and held it above Mizuto. A tentacle came from the ground and grabbed the katana. It yanked it from the girl's hands and brought it over to Naru. Naru snatched it and slowly walked over to Mizuto.

“My whole life… it’s built… it’s built around you. Around making sure your bloodline ceases to exist. We’ve already eliminated several of them. Now it’s my turn to end you.”
“You took way too long with it as well. 2 years to be exact.” The girl said. “If you don’t kill him now, you will be removed from the family and you will join him.”

“You don’t have to worry about that.” She chuckled and looked down at him. “Your time is up Mizuto.”

Naru held up the katana above Mizuto and started crying.

“I-I’m sorry.” She said as she swung the katana and decapitated him.

Mizuto’s head rolled to the side as the grass around Mizuto started turning red. Naru stood there taking deep breaths while looking down at him. Blood still dripped from her head. The girl chuckled and took a puff from her cigar.

“Good job, Naru. Let’s go. It’s time to return back to your mother.”

Naru looked over at her and chuckled.

“Y-Yeah. Let’s go…” She nodded.

Naru’s tentacles returned to her back. The girl picked Naru up and carried her over to the main building of the school.
