It's been years since y/n abstracted. Ands it's really seemed to have gotten everyone a bit down recently especially Jax for some strange reason he never really well, seems to care for anyone. Gangle has asked him about it once or twice but he just won't tell anyone no matter how much they ask him. Ragatha seems extremely worried though she's noticed Jax hasn't been coming out he's room lately at all, not even for adventures. Hopefully he won't abstract as well.

Jax is crying into his pillow thinking of y/n when he hears loads of noise coming from outside he scowls and ranches open the door frowning. "Why are you all being so fuc*boop* loud!?" He notices everyone is all huddled together in some sort of..circle? They look worried yet happy at the same time. What is going on? He steps closer to the huddle of characters trying to get a look at what their all so hyped about. He tries to push himself through the crowd to take a look. There sat...a very..glitched and tired looking y/n they still had some black goo and eyes over their nobody..but it was definitely y/n! What happened? How are they back?

Everyone notices Jax trying to get through and they part to let him see them. "Y/n? Is that you?.." y/n looks up. "Jax...yes..it's me..I..-! Before they could finish Jax shoves past Kinger and runs over to y/n hugging them tightly.. "I..missed you I thought I would never see you again. How are you back?" Y/n hugs Jax back and frowns. "I actually don't know, I have no idea. I remember Zooble walking past and spotting me...I guess Caine forgot to put me in the cellar...and I just...went back to being myself and..I unabstracted a little." "Well I'm just happy you're here now"

Y/n burries their face into his shoulder. "Yeah...I missed you...I don't mean to go all soft and all that on you...I just feel really stressed." Jax smiles sympathetically. "Hey..I don't mind, we all feel like that sometimes." (Author: just realised I was writing in bold lmao😭)

After a while the gunk and eyes left over started to leave y/n's body, they slowly started to become their regular self. Their cuddling with Jax when they think of something. "Jax..what would happen if you abstract and I'm still here?.." Jax opens one of his eyes and frowns. "If I'm honest. I don't really see that coming. I've never really been close to abstraction." "Yeah...but what if?" Jax puts his arm around them, "look, that's not going to happen Pumpkin..but if it did...I guess you'd just be without me." Jax shrugs. "But I couldn't just, be stuck here without you!" Jax chuckles. "And I said that's not going to happen!" Y/n sighs nuzzling their head into his chest, it's actually surprisingly warm...nice..and comfy..

Jax notices and smirks. "Getting comfy there sweetcakes?" Y/n just roll their eyes. "I don't like you in a romantic way.." "yeah yeah...sure you do.." "shut up."
