Kawano ran through town. People were running in the opposite direction. Loud crashes were heard coming from the giant castle in front of them. He finally made it to the gate, puddles of blood were everywhere, and dead bodies that looked liked dried up sponges. Kawano ran past the doors to the castle and up the stairs. He stopped as he looked at a tall man holding a giant skinny cross. Kawano's parents were on their knees begging him to spare them.
"MOM! DAD!" Kawano yelled out to them.
His parents looked at Kawano and gasped.
"Kawano! RUN!" His mom yelled out as the tall man sliced their heads off with the cross in one swift motion.
Kawano watched as their heads dropped onto the floor their bodies flop down onto the ground. Kawano's whole body was shaking in fear as he took a step back.
"N-No... What the hell is going on...?" He whimpered.
The tall man turned around and looked Kawano in the eye. Somebody grabbed Kawano's hand and ran. Kawano was frozen in fear as he was dragged out the castle.
"Kawano, I know this is hard, but please stop thinking about your damn parents for 5 minutes and run. I can't keep dragging you like this." The man grunted.
Kawano snapped back into reality.
"S-Sorry." He said.
The man let go of him and Kawano started running. The castle was falling apart behind them. Kawano couldn't believe what he just saw. His own parents decapitated right in front of him. Out of nowhere, something went flying right past him. Strands of his hair flew off. Kawano turned around and saw the giant man standing on top of the tall stairs.
"You aren't getting away from me, Kawano." He said.
"KAWANO MOVE!" The man that helped Kawano pushed him out of the way as the giant cross came flying back to the giant mans hand.
Kawano started to pant heavily as he looked at the trail the cross left on the ground that led all the way up the stairs.
"T-This is just a nightmare..." Kawano said.
"It's not." The man next to him said.
"Who are you?"
"My name is Khaled. I'm here to save you from your brother."
"Brother? I don't have a brother."
"Kawano, that is your brother. He was casted out before you we-"
The giant cross slammed down onto the ground in between them. Kawano's brother jumped and landed right next to them.
"Kawano. Say your prayers." His brother said.
Kawano looked up at him with total fear. Khaled pulled out a sword and shoved it inside of the giant man. He looked down at Khaled and laughed.
"Your puny sword won't do shit to me."
"Think again." Khaled smirked.
Khaled's body burst into flames and the sword lit on fire. He swung again towards the giant man, but Khaled's arm was clean cut off. The giant man used only his finger nails to slice his arm completely. Khaled looked at where his arm was as blood splattered onto the ground. He took one deep breath, then followed by several more, then followed by him falling on the ground gasping for air as he tried to process what just happened. Kawano grabbed the sword and just ran for it. The giant man laughed.
"You can't run Kawano. I, Eldred, will be the one to slay you."
Kawano ran back into town. He climbed on top of a house and looked back to where he saw Eldred last. He was gone.
