"Why are you fighting this, Aiko? This is a family tradition. Anybody would be happy to be in your position right now." Aiko's father scolded him.

"I-I don't like this... I don't consent to this tradition..." Aiko said as his dog ears went down a little bit.

"You think I give a fuck? Get your ass over here. We're starting soon. Your whole family is here for this."

"No... I'm not going."
"You're still a child. You think you have a say in this?"

"I'm 15... I should have a say in this."
"15 is still a child. I own you. You do what I say."

"You say that as if you don't even see me as your son. You just see me as a pet to do all your work."
"You fucking brat." Aiko's dad slapped him across the face.

"You dare say that to me? I didn't spend a whole 9 months putting up with your stupid cunt of a mother just to have a kid who can't respect me."

"You bastard..." Aiko coughed.

Aiko's dad grabbed Aiko by the arm and dragged him into another room. There several people stood around. Everybody had blindfolds covering their eyes, just like his father.

"Alright brothers and sisters. It's time. We will now remove these unnecessary things that Aiko has attached to his body and replace them with the magical eye.

Aiko looked in the middle of the room and noticed his cousin sitting on the floor. He was smiling.

"Okilo... No..." Aiko mumbled.

"Okilo will start us off, then we'll move onto Aiko." Somebody said as they walked up to Okilo.

The man pulled out a syringe and patted Okilo on the head.

"Ready?"

"Of course! I'm so happy to be a real part of this family."
Okilo's dad started tearing up in the group of people.

"Great. It's time." The man said.

He held the needle above Okilo's forehead before penetrating his skin and letting the syringe go into him. Okilo flinched a bit in pain.

"You're ok. Remember, the pain you're about to endure is for the family. You will truly be one of us."

"I understand..." Okilo nodded.

The man smiled and injected the liquid into Okilo's head. Okilo's body started flinching for some reason. He fell onto the ground, now unable to move his body. The man made a gesture and somebody walked up to him handing an oddly shaped sharp knife. He picked it up and kneeled down next to Okilo.

"You're a good kid. Good job on not fighting this."
The man started to dig the knife into Okio's eye socket. He used his other hand to try and pull the eye out. Okilo screamed loudly, still unable to move. Blood streamed down his cheeks as he cried out loud. Aiko started crying as he watched the man remove his eyeball from him. Okilo's screaming filled the room. The man held his eyeball up to the group to admire.

"Truly a beautiful sight." Aiko's dad said. "It's good to see the new generation become purified.

Aiko looked up at his dad. His eyes wide open as tears kept falling. His whole body shooke. That was about to be him. He was about to lose his eyes. He was scared for his life. The man managed to pull out the other eyeball after sticking the knife into his eye socket. Okilo screamed even louder.

"I-I CAN'T SEE! EVERYTHING IS DARK!" Okilo screamed.

"That's the way it's supposed to be..." The man said as she set the eyeballs down next to Okilo.
