I sat in the cafeteria, waiting for Holly. I'd been avoiding Nick ever since Chase told me what Nick did, what a sick, twisted bastard, I thought to myself as I hold my book close to my face which my mind was far away from. I'm not gonna lie, the only thing I was thinking about was that mind blowing orgasm, Chase had given me.
I suddenly came back into reality, when Holly slams her books against the wooden table, making me jump slightly. "2 words; History test" she says, panicking in a completely calm way. I laugh quietly, "I don't take History, I do Geography" I remind her, she places a hand on her mouth and murmurs, "oh fuck me".
"I need a partner to revise with" she says, raising her eyebrows and opening her eyes as wide as she could. "What about your housemate?" She asks, cocking an eyebrow. "Huh -wha -no" I splutter out.
"I meant Leah" she tells me, my pulse decreases, "not your guy".
I smile at her stupid, but real, comment. "Um, I don't- I don't really know her" I explain to her, "oh, I see, spending too much time fucking Chase, you can't even word a sentence around her" Holly says, placing her hand on her hips, "no, and ew, but no, it's just, Nick, told me that she fucked Chase" I tell her.
"Ooooh" she says in disgust and regret, "what did he say?" She asks, her gaze slowly emerging toward Chase.
"He said he doesn't remem- and do you believe him?" Holly cuts me off mid-sentence, "I mean no offense to your boyf, but I wouldn't put it past him" she says quietly.
I glare at her deeply, "sorry" she says, "I'm gonna invite Leah to our table" she squeaks before disappearing, 2 seconds later, she come back, they both sit opposite me, I turn my head towards Chase, he smiles at me, and frowns when he sees Leah, "I don't know" I mumble and shrug at him.
He instantly gets blocked by Nick, "hey" he greets me, before inviting himself in the chair next to me. I'd already told Nick that we are better off as friends and he agreed.
Thank god. I couldn't tell him that I'm going out with Chase, well going out is a strong word, let's say I fucked him... several times? Oh whatever, fuck that.
"What's up?" He asks, his gaze follows mine, towards Chase. His curious face suddenly falls into a frown, "I wasn't looking" I tell him, instantly turning my head towards him. "So what were you looking at?" He asks, grinning.
"Mmm, the bitch, Zoe" I tell him, pointing my finger towards her, I suddenly feel the vibration of my phone buzz against my thigh. I take it out, it's a text from Chase.

I've always used emojis to text him, we aren't really word people. "I didn't think you still had beef with her?" Nick asks, as I slide my phone into my pocket. "Huh?" I snap back into reality, "oh, yeah, I do, she just loves touching guys down".
"I'm surprised you knew that, we didn't even know each other till..." I trail off, my mind instantly thinks about Chase. Then again, I only met Nick until after I met Chase. "Till recently" I say finishing my sentence.
"I'll see you" he says as he walks off. "Are you and Nick a thing?" I heard a voice ask behind me, I suddenly realize that the girls were still there, I look at Leah, and think about her question, "what, no, I'm single as a fucking Pringle" I tell her.
"And... ready to mingle?" She asks, pointing towards Nick, he's standing in the food line. "No, me and Nick we- we're just friends" I tell her. "Mmm" Leah hums, "friends with benefits" She says, more like a statement than a question. "Nope, with zero benefits" I heavily imply.
"What about you and Chase?" Holly asks, her fingers trail along her jaw.
"Again, just friends" I say, trying not to let my lie get the best of me, "anyway what about you, Leah, you must have someone on your mind?" I ask her, quickly changing the subject.
She shrugs, "fuck knows, all guys are dicks" she tells me, I laugh at her joke, i makes me think about Chase, and how we used to hate each others guts, but now, we would do anything for each other. "I've got an idea, let's make a pact" Leah says, putting down her pen, "to not let any guy get the best of us, or ruin our friendship".
I looked deeply at Holly, her eyes flashed open as soon as Leah brings up the idea, I personally wasn't sure about Leah being our friend, especially since she fucked my... boyfriend?
Me and Chase haven't really used that term, and will we ever? I don't know, we are close, but maybe not that close, are we? "And we have to tell each other as soon as one of us has a boyfriend" I suddenly stopped and thought, I've never lied to Holly, and I never will, but me and Chase haven't exactly used that term, so...
"Sure" Holly says, her gaze slowly turning to me. "What about you?" She asks, I shrug my shoulders, "mmm" I hum.
I decided to text Chase about this situation I put myself in, then I thought, "ooh, here an idea, also when one of us likes someone else we have to know" I say my gaze suddenly sharpens towards Leah, "fine by me, I don't like anyone" she tells me, in a completely unconvincing way. I turn my head to my phone and turn my body 180 degrees to face Chase.
ME: Hey, so, I got myself in a bit of a situation
CHASE: What, that stupid dickface?
ME: No, me and Leah might be friends? Idk
CHASE: Nah, it's fine, baby, use it to ur advantage 😈
I place my phone flat on the table, I sat and thought, what advantage? Another text pings across my phone. I pick it up and my gaze turns to Chase as soon as I saw the text, he looks up from his phone and smirks.
CHASE: Gain her trust, learn shit abt her, drop her, easy af
I'm still adjusting to Chase's way of using people, I mean, I've never done that. Not because I'm a pussy, I've just had no reason to use people, and I don't think I will, I look at Chase and he smirks in a warm but evil way. I don't respond to Chase's text because he's always bending my ear about telling him the truth all the time, and the truth is, I don't want to.
I've never said no to Chase, I've always been afraid to. Whenever he wants sex, it's just yeah, I feel like he'd end up pressuring me if I said no, so I'd just need to learn to say yes to him, even if it means killing someone.
