Part 3

Two in a bind
Of course you're mine
But how could you forsake me tonight.
Rough and cold you perceive
But around them you are gleam.
Just for an opinion you wish to avoid
Rat out me in a hidden void.
Only seek of answers held tight,
Why put me in the dead of night.

Ignore me all you so please,
But don't come crawling after you plead.
Apologies for the way I speak,
for kindness is my physique.
Honesty is my go-to
But what you wish to hear is not for me too.

Hide away your sorrows and pain,
I try to help when I am
Tell me which ones you need
For I will be the personal guide you seek.

Hatred and arrows
Like a vine
Why do you hate them tonight?
Trust is broken and so am I
"Don't be fooled by those who lie."

The ones I need, I hold close
But the ones you seek are hurtful the most.
Sure, a lie is told here and there
But I believe those who are near.

Stay by my side till morning rise
For I wish not to be demised.
Lies and hatred hurt as well.
But betrayal hurts the most, oh well.

Don't follow a path where you're not comfortable,
You'll be lost without your map.
Don't barge in without awakening,
I am here and wish to be heed.
