I look up at Caleb, letting out a sigh and trying to ignore Tom's presence. "How long are we gonna be away?" I ask, avoiding eye contact with Tom.

"Two weeks. But I booked it last minute, so the place we're staying at in Greece is pretty expensive," Caleb explains. I nod, saying, "Okay, I'll go pack then."

As I start to walk out, I don't look at Tom, but instantly catch a whiff of his cologne and cigarette scent. I feel his eyes on me as I walk by, but I ignore him and go up my stairs.

The next day, I find myself sitting on my bed, staring at the wide-open suitcase in front of me. mumbling the words to the quiet music playing. Tess then speaks, "You know what?" I look at her and ask, "What?"

"You're gonna snap out of this mood; you're going to Greece for fuck sake!" Tess exclaims, then Emily adds "Yeah, we're gonna pack the hottest clothes for you, and you're gonna get tanned... maybe even meet someone there. So, stop thinking about Tom and focus on the positives."

I smile and sigh, "Yeah, I know. I just can't believe I have to spend two weeks straight with him." I groan and stand up. They giggle, and Tess says, "It's kind of interesting though. If there was a movie about your relationship, I think it'd be my favorite movie."

I scoff, "It's not so interesting, trust me," as I open my wardrobe. "Oh, but it is. I know you get those butterflies whenever you see him or even get a text from him," Emily teases.

"Shut up," I laugh, grabbing a bunch of my bikinis. "Which bikinis should I bring?" I ask them. They rummage through them and pick out a few, holding up red, revealing ones that are definitely way too small for me now. "Definitely this one," Tess explains. I snatch them from her and hold them against my body. "These? They're slutty as hell," I remark.

"Try it on," Emily says, packing clothes into the suitcase for me. "Alright." I start to get changed, putting them on, the bikini's now showing off every curve of my body. "Hell yes!" Emily squeals. "Tom's gonna regret every decision he's ever made," Tess giggles. I laugh back, looking in the mirror at my body in these bikinis, adjusting the straps. But then I feel someone staring at me. I look up at my doorway and see Tom leaning against the frame, looking at every inch of my body.

"We're leaving in 20 minutes for the airport," he explains in that deep raspy voice. I nod and say quietly, "Okay." He looks at my body for a few more seconds and then walks away. I let out the breath I've been holding the entire time. "Jesus, he was checking you out so much!" Tess says in shock. "He wasn't even trying to hide it," Emily adds, her eyes wide. They haven't seen me and Tom interact now that we have that sexual tension, and they're in shock about how strong the tension is.

I burst into laughter, saying, "You don't even know what you're talking about," as I start to take off the bikinis and close the door. Tess rolls her eyes, exclaiming, "God, you're blind."

Putting on a small t-shirt and shorts, I toss the red bikinis into the suitcase. Emily comes up to me, placing her hands on my shoulders. "Look, all I'm saying, I know how much you say you hate Tom, and you do. But deep down, you've got some sort of attraction for him," she explains.

"Okay but-" I start, but Emily continues, "Not to do that main character speech and all, but he's treated you like you're an object for him to use and play with whenever he feels like it. You need to show him these two weeks that you're much better than that." She smiles softly at me, and then Tess chimes in, "You need to show him you have self-respect, make him regret what he's done." She explains.

I look down, contemplating what they've said, realizing how right they are.
