International organization is the name given to organizations operating at the international level, established by states or non-governmental organizations. There are two types of international organizations:
International interstate organizations are official organizations whose members are sovereign states and other international interstate organizations. European Union , World Trade Organization , ASEAN can be given as examples.
Non-Governmental Organizations are private organizations operating internationally.
