I woke up, extremely happy from yesterday. I couldn't stop thinking about him... he's just too much like Cameron.
I know Cameron told me to forget but I could never forget a human being like that.
I got into the shower and scrubbed down. I used my vanilla scented soap, just jazzing it up. When I got out, I blow dried my hair, put it into a messy bun, then threw on a white oversized t-shirt and black leggings. I put on my white converse then grabbed my bag, heading out. Today I had 4 morning classes then the rest of the day to myself.
I hurried to my history of literature class and sat down in the middle section. People were already here and eventually, I saw Alex. Sadly, he was already sitting with someone. A girl... the girl. From Hailey's Place. She's even prettier now. She's dressed pretty girly but still really nice. She actually looked perfect. And they were laughing and flirting... probably having a better time then we did yesterday.
I focused my attention toward my professor and took notes throughout class.

The whole day went by slowly. Alex and the mystery girl were in all of my classes, acting like a couple. By my last class, I was irritated. I know I shouldn't be but... I couldn't help it. A girl gets jealous.
I walked to Charlie's Café to meet up with Nash. We were hanging out the rest of the day.
When I got there, I saw him texting on his phone, smiling. "It better not be a girl." I grumbled at him. I crossed my arms but he just looked up at me and smiled.
"No. It's a friend of mine. He said he met a pretty blonde girl named Aspyn." he replied.
"Ugh! Don't even talk about that. I met a guy named Alex and he was so adorable. But then, we went to Hailey's place for brunch, and the cashier was really pretty and gave him her number, and then I find out that she goes to Harvard, and they were in all of my classes, flirting!" I yelled, all in one breath.
"Calm down. You just met the dude, you can't claim him." he joked and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "Now come on. I'm hungry." I sighed and followed him to the line. "You know, back in Sydney, we wouldn't have to wait in line." he whispered to me. I rolled my eyes.
"Back in Sydney, you were a stone cold killer. You got a new start, take advantage of it." he nodded and sighed. I looked down, starting to think. "Nash?"
"Hmmm...." he said, looking at the menu.
"Do you miss it?"
"Miss what?"
"Magcon?" I whispered. He shrugged.
"Not really... I mean, don't get me wrong, I miss the perks. Like parties and money but.... I have peace here. I can visit my family without running from the cops, I'm clean." I nodded and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Will you buy me a slice?" I asked.
"Sure, what kind, baby girl."
"Ew, don't call me that!" I chuckled and playfully slapped his chest. "But pepperoni." he nodded and we got to the cashier.
"A pepperoni slice with lemonade and a hamburger with Pepsi, please." the cashier nodded and totaled it up.
"That'll be $7.50." he said. Nash nodded and paid.
"How'd you know I wanted lemonade?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "I could've wanted Pepsi too."
"'Cause everyone likes lemonade."
"Then why'd you get Pepsi?" I asked.
"'Cause I wanted to. It doesn't really matter, are you happy with lemonade?" I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.
"Yeah..." he chuckled and nodded.
"Yay. Now let's go find a table." I nodded and we walked to a booth in the back. We sat down and he folded his hands. "Now tell me. What's so great about this Alex kid?" he asked.
"Well... he's absolutely beautiful, he's smart, funny, witty, and a charmer. I just wanted to get to know him more though... he seems too familiar."
"Don't say it. I know you miss him but... Alex is not Cameron. You gotta get that." Nash said, seriously.
"I already know, Hamilton... I just... Cameron wanted me to start new and find someone and I thought I was on the start of something." I said, annoyed and sad.
"I'm sorry, baby girl..." he said just above a whisper, the held my hand, and kissed my knuckles. "Now eat." I raised an eyebrow and sipped my lemonade. "What?"
"What the hell was that?" I asked, playfully.
"I do it to people who worry." he replied, casually.
"Even guys?"
"Hell no! The last time I did that, Taylor slapped me across the face." we laughed and ate some more. "I think you'll find someone... Someone really special and real soon." I smiled.
"Thanks... I think I should finish college first, though." he nodded and smiled.
We finished our food, then headed out. We were just walking around a park, quietly. The sky was a navy blue, the moon was crescent, and the city seemed quiet. "How are the guys doing?" I asked.
"Good. Aaron moved back to Louisiana, Carter, Taylor, Matt and Gilinsky are in Cali. Johnson is visiting family in Nebraska. And Shawn is in Canada, finishing high school." I nodded and smiled.
" That's great. I like to know they're ok." I sighed and looked down. "A-Are you ok?" He shrugged.
"Life could be better with my bet friend but... I'm fine 'cause I have you and the guys." I smiled. We continued walking until we bumped into someone... or should I say some people.
"Hey!" I looked up and saw Alex waving to Nash. "What's up man?" he was smiling bright.... like Cam.
"Nothing much... Jordan this is-"
"Alex. I know." I went on my tippy toes and whispered, "The Alex." His eyes widened and jaw slightly dropped.
"I didn't know you guys knew each other, small world... I'm guessing y'all are together?" he was looking down at our hands, which I didn't even notice were clasped together.
"Oh no! Just friends... but maybe you and her..." his arm was wrapped around her waist as she smiled wide. No answer. "We gotta go..." I pulled Nash away and hurried back to my dorm. He was confused but I just had to get out of that situation. We got inside my dorm and I looked straight at Camilla. "Please leave." she shrugged and walked out. When she closed the door, Nash took a deep breath.
"What the hell was that about?! Don't you like him-"
"You knew who Alex was and didn't tell me. You knew exactly that he was identical to Cameron. And you wouldn't even try to keep me away for my own sanity?!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry.... it's just.... Jordan, I gotta tell you something."
