I ran to my house and slammed the front door. A quick second later, I regretted it because I wasn't sure if any family was here. "Sorry, slightly mad! Anyone home?" I called out. There wasn't a reply so I roamed the house. The kitchen and living room was empty. I walked upstairs to my room but there sat, on my bed, was Jeremy. "What-"
"I'm not here to hurt you..." he said quietly. I looked him over and saw his eyes were bloodshot and he had bags under them. His facial features more defined, like he hasn't been eating. "I came to warn you."
I took a step closer and narrowed my eyes. "About?"
"Aspyn... She's out of control. She's building this... monstrosity of a gang. Taking apart other ones, rebuilding what Mary left behind... Mary's legacy-"
"I'm not in the mood for jokes. And I certainly don't want to hear about her."
"She's not as bad as you-"
"She slept with Cameron." he went silent, knowingly. "Just tell me why you're here." I sat down next to him and looked him dead in the eyes.
"You need to get out of here. She's coming for you and when she does get you-" a figure lunged at Jeremy, tackling him to the ground. I quickly turned and saw Cameron about to punch him.
"No!" I quickly got up and pushed him off of him.
"What the fuck, Jordan?!"
"He didn't do anything wrong." I said angry. "And how the hell did you get in my house?!"
"The door was unlocked." Fuck my life. "What do you mean he didn't do anything?"
"It's none of your goddamn business!" I yelled at him, fists clenched.
"It... It kind of is, if he wants to live any longer." Jeremy said.
I turned to him and crossed my arms. "Finish what you were saying." I said, angrily.
"Well... Aspyn has a plan to build a giant gang, under her control, to take over each and every continent. She's taking apart gangs, putting them in hers. She wants everyone from MAGCON... And to get it, she needed you." Cameron pulled out a gun and aimed it at Jeremy.
"Fucking bastard." he mumbled.
Jeremy raised his hands in defense. "I came to warn. You need to leave the country. Go to somewhere you haven't been. Most of your cities are in Europe, America, Asia, and Australia. Since Africa is the biggest out of the 3 left, I suggest you go there." I rubbed my eyes and sat on my bed.
"What about the guys?" I asked, worried.
"Have them leave too."
"And school, and my family?"
"Tell them." Cameron said, looking at me seriously. "The deserve to know." I glared at him.
"Should I also tell them you cheated on me with a woman that wanted me dead?" his face dropped. "I thought so..."
"I should go..." Jeremy said.
"Go where?" I asked. "I'm sure Aspyn knows where you are."
"Well no. I took off my tracker. But I know I can't go back. I'm headed to Chile... Good luck." he left my room and my house. I walked downstairs with Cameron following me. I stopped at the door.
"You need to leave." I said crossing my arms.
"Jordan, we can talk about this-"
"Talk about what? I know the truth, Cam. Just... leave." he sighed and nodded. He walked toward me and kissed my cheek. He brought his lips toward my ears.
"I'll give you space... But I want you to know, I made a mistake. If I could turn back time, I would, but I can't... Jordan, I love you with all my heart. I would never want to hurt you but I know I did. When you're ready, I'll be right at your door step." He looked me in the eyes and weakly smiled. "That's a promise." I closed the door and sighed.
This will be harder than I thought.
