Chapter 5

The elevator stops with a ding, indicating that I've reached the floor.
The mahogany furniture, subtle dust-infused lighting, and shelves filled with ancient tomes of Ozpin's room never ceases to amaze me everytime I come by. I sat on a chair, waiting for Ozpin

A couple of minutes later, I could hear the elevator coming up again, with Ozpin. He exited the elevator and sat on his chair, opposite to me.

Ozpin: I believe you made contact with Ruby Rose. Well done Klaus

Klaus: Thank you professor Ozpin.

Ozpin opened his scroll and started to work on it, couple of seconds later a notification popped up on my scroll.

Ozpin: I'm putting you on team RWBY since technically you are Weiss Schnee's partner, the file has all information on them. You are ordered to keep an eye out for them.

Nodding, I started to read the files he gave me.

Ozpin: If I may Klaus, do you hold a grudge against Weiss Schnee?

The hardships I faced at the SDC wouldn't ever be forgotten even if Weiss Schnee apologized to me. But holding a grudge against is pointless because she was a child like me back then and she wasn't even involved in anything

Klaus: Holding a grudge against Weiss isn't my path and it isn't gonna change anything Professor. She didn't do anything wrong. The only thing I'm concerned is the other Faunus in the school targeting her

Ozpin: Well that's the other reason I'm putting you in the group.

Klaus: What?! I'm not gonna be her bodyguard or something Professor Ozpin.

Ozpin chuckles as he took a sip from his mug. He placed his mug on the desk and continued the conversation.

Ozpin: Well she is your teammate, and I did see you working together so it'll be second nature to have your partners back.

Klaus: Is that all Professor Ozpin?

Ozpin: Not quite. For the time being go to your dorm. I'll send you some files to your scroll, that'll be your objective for this semester.

Klaus: Understood. Any word from Qrow?

Ozpin: Nothing yet. That is all.

The next Morning

Weiss's POV

After redoing the room, Ruby's plan of having bunk beds was a success. Beds on top of each other, balanced on a couple of stacked books, hanging from ropes and whatnot. This is clearly dangerous and Ruby hasn't really thought about it much. why was she chosen as a leader

Yang: Isn't it strange that Klaus was never put in a team? Wasn't he your partner, Weiss?

Weiss: Yes and I don't mind him not getting picked for a team. He had no elegance in his fighting style and was much of brute, just like every Faunus.

Blake: Hey! He saved your life! How can you say that to him. He seems like a nice guy

Yang: Yeah and a pretty smooth talker

Yang flips her hair and strike a pose

Yang: You got very beautiful eyes Weiss

Weiss: Well-thats-hes-

Ruby: Oh my the ice queen is lost for words and is that a little bit of blush-
