Chapter 7: Talking About Natalie's Past

"I'm going to start making dinner while you warm Natalie up," Jonah mentions with his arms crossed.

"Is it already that time of the day?" Scarlett gasps.

"That's what happens when we don't pay attention to the time," Natalie affirms. She feels her clothes getting dry.

"That's true," Jonah agrees with her. Scarlett lets go of his hand.

"I'll go help him cook dinner," Scarlett slightly smiles

"Then I'll watch you guys cook dinner," Luke chimes in.

"Let's get going," Jonah suggests. The dragon, the half vampire, and the flame go inside the cabin to make dinner.

"It is just me or does Jonah seem protective of his girlfriend?" Freddy quizzes.

"It's more like possessive of her than being protective," Natalie mentions. She is now fully dry. It is all thanks to Olivia's red flames. After opening her eyes, Olivia backs away from her.

"That's my brother for you," Jackie cringes.

"How would you know what your brother was like before you met him?" Olivia states.

"How would I know? I'm just guessing here," Jackie mumbles. She looks away from them.

"Then you shouldn't say that if you don't really know your brother," Natalie scolds her.

"I don't need to be told by the likes of you!" Jackie glares. Natalie gets down from the edge of the ship.

"There's no need for you to get all angry. I just told you that you don't really know much about your brother!" Natalie remarks. Olivia and Freddy can already feel the tension building up between them. They sigh with a knowing look. Freddy is a bit confused by their reaction.

"Here we go again," Olivia murmurs. Freddy stares at her before he looks back at Natalie and Jackie.

"What do you mean by that?" Freddy questions her.

"This will be the second or third time they are arguing and fighting," Luke reports. He doesn't look away from Natalie and Jackie.

"What do you expect? You're talking as if you know more about my brother than I do!" Jackie exclaims. Her eyes are slowly turning red.

"Don't be an idiot!" Natalie insults her. Her two hands slowly turn into black flames.

"You're the idiot who thinks you know more about my brother than I do!" Jackie rages. Using her inhuman speed, she charges at Natalie.

"Are you that much of an idiot? Why the heck do you think I know more about your brother than his own sister?" Natalie roars.

After blocking Jackie's attack with her right arm, Natalie punches Jackie in the stomach with her left hand. Jackie tries to kick the demon on the side, but the demon uses her arm to block her attack. She gets out of the way when Jackie charges at her again. They speak through their actions. Natalie and Jackie take their fight in the air, and away from the ship. Neither of them wants to do any damage to the ship like earlier. Olivia and Freddy watch their fight from the ship, but they're having a challenging time to keep up with them.

"Should we stop them?" Freddy puzzles.

"As long as they don't do any damage to the ship, they should be fine," Olivia sighs. She sees black flames and sparks in the air.

"Okay, but how long have they been here in this world?" Freddy continues.

"Natalie told you about her and the two half vampires coming from a different world?" Olivia guesses. She doesn't look away from the fight between Natalie and Jackie.
