Chapter 8: Natalie Going After Jackie

"Will you just shut up before you wake Jonah and Scarlett up?" Natalie advice.

"Ha! You didn't deny the fact you're not in love with this Ross guy! You're not actually defending him!" Jackie exclaims. She accidentally wakes Jonah and Scarlett up.

"Huh? What's going on?" Scarlett yawns. She uses the back of her right hand to rub her left eye.

"Look what you have done!" Natalie groans.

"So, what's going on here?" Jonah and Scarlett puzzle.

"It's nothing for you two to worry about," Freddy sighs. He notices the death glare between Natalie and Jackie. "It's just one of Natalie and Jackie's usual arguments." Jonah and Scarlett roll their eyes.

"Of course, it's one of their arguments," Jonah and Scarlett grunt in tiredness.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Natalie and Jackie murmur.

"Your arguments are getting pointless and annoying," Jonah sneezes.

"It's not my fault she is blind to the reality," Jackie deadpans, but she earns a glare from Natalie.

"Well, excuse me. I didn't ask for your opinion on my life, you know," Natalie gives her an attitude. Jackie glares at her.

"It's more on your so-called boyfriend!" Jackie snaps. She suddenly appears in front of Natalie, who gets off the counter. She shoves Jackie away from her.

"Will you stop insulting Ross?" Natalie spits.

"Why should I? He is just a weakling human!" Jackie says with a monotone expression. She shoves the female demon backward.

"He's more than just a weakling human! He is someone you can rely on!" Natalie corrects her.

She tries hit the half female vampire in the face, but Jackie blocks the punch with her arms. Using her right kneecap, she hits Natalie in the stomach. The demon uses her forehead to bash against Jackie's. Both groan in pain.

"Don't make me laugh!" Jackie snorts. Grabbing Natalie's head, Jackie bashes it against her right kneecap before she slams the back of her head against the counter. Natalie winces in pain from the smashing her head against the counter. "Humans only want to build your hope up, so they can break you!" Using both feet, she kicks Jackie so hard that she crashes into the table. Luckily, Jonah and Scarlett move out of the way before Jackie destroyed the table.

"Just in time," Scarlett sighs in relief. She scratches the back of her head.

"Yeah, no kidding," Jonah agrees with her. He shakes his head at the scene before him.

"That's just your opinion on the humans! Not mine!" Natalie roars.

"Then what is your opinion on the humans?" Jackie rebukes. Her eyes turn bloody red. Natalie charges at Jackie, who is doing the same thing.

"Humans are worthy to be given a chance to earn our trust!" Natalie states. She tries to punch the half female vampire, but Jackie uses her arms to block her punches while using her kicks against her.

"Humans are a greedy bunch of weaklings!" Jackie scowls.

"Not all humans are greedy or weaklings!" Natalie angrily exclaims. Her black flame surrounds her two fists.

"You're just saying that because Ross is a human!" Jackie affirms. She ignores the burns on her body from the black flames.

"He's not a greedy human or a weakling!" Natalie ignores her statement. She blocks Jackie's punch from hitting her in the face.
