Chapter 3: Fighting Jackie

"Shut the hell up, demon! I don't need to be told by a human lover!" Jackie gives her an attitude.

"Anyways, we should join them on the ship," Luke chimes in.

"Yeah, I have to agree with him," Olivia acknowledges his statement. Without warning, Luke picks her up in the same fashion as Jonah and Scarlett.

"We'll see you two on board," Luke sticks his tongue at them. Olivia wraps her arm around his neck, and Luke spreads his wings. He flies to the ship with Olivia in his arms. They leave the two girls behind.

"Is it just me or is this journey going to be filled with romance?" Jackie grumpily mumbles.

"Just be glad that we don't have any humans on this ship," Natalie huffs.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Jackie gives her an attitude.

"Let's just join them on the ship," Natalie grumbles. Walking to the ship, she starts climbing up the ladder, and Jackie rolls her eyes at the sight of Natalie.

"What the hell am I getting myself into? I never have been this cooperative with anyone. Let alone show my emotions," Jackie thinks. Using her inhuman speed, Jackie jumps on board. Natalie eventually gets on deck, but she decides to sit on the edge of the ship. Jackie stands on deck with her arms crossed.

"When is the next time we land on a different island?" Jackie demands.

"Tomorrow around lunch time," Luke answers her question. Strolling to the edge, he pulls the anchor out of the water. He gets the ship to sail away from the volcano island.

"Flame girls?" Natalie calls out to them.

"Yeah, what is it?" Olivia and Scarlett question her. Jackie walks across the deck to get to the other side. She watches the ocean.

"Can you two actually turn into a flame?" Natalie quizzes. Jonah nods in agreement.

"Of course, we can," Olivia grins. Luke and Jackie pay close attention to their conversation.

"And we can even show it to you guys," Scarlett adds.

"Yeah, we would like to see that," Luke speaks.

"Alright, but we will only turn our arm into a flame," Olivia informs them.

"So, we don't accidentally burn the ship down," Scarlett finishes. She scratches the back of her head.

"Makes sense," Jonah deadpans. He notices Jackie turn around to look at Olivia and Scarlett.

"Well, here goes nothing," Olivia and Scarlett sigh. When they lift their right arms, they turn them into red flames. Luke and Natalie smile at the sight of their flames. Jonah is emotionless and Jackie looks bored.

"Is it ageless?" Luke inquires.

"Yes, why you ask?" Olivia responds. Her flame arm turns back to normal.

"Wouldn't that make you two ageless? Your bodies are made of flame," Jonah queries.

"Now that you mention it, I believe we are ageless," Scarlett thinks out loud.

"Because we haven't aged since we turned into our teens," Olivia continues.

"So, we have three immortals on this ship?" Natalie guesses.

"It's not new or anything," Jackie says with a monotone expression.

"Of course, you would say that," Natalie scuffs. She stares at her with an emotionless look.

"You got a problem with that?" Jackie glares.

"No, but your response to everything has started to irritate me," Natalie returns the glare.
