My Rockstar || Seungjin

Chapter 1:

Seungmin's POV:

*BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!

It was 5:34am...the sun was still not to been in sight. I smacked my hand onto the loud device and aggressively shut it down as I was still so drowsy. I stood up from my bed as I tiredly trudged to my bathroom. 

After a cold-but refreshing shower, I swiftly pulled out a few clothes from my drawers and headed out to the kitchen. I decided to just toast a piece of bread from the previous dinner. After I ate, I changed my clothes and grabbed my school tote along with my guitar. It was currently 6:02am, I had to be at school campus by 7:30.

I stood patiently by the lamppost waiting for the morning bus. I pulled out my headphones from my tote and turned up my music. Whilst it was still dark and cold outside-I listened to "Falling in Love" by Cigarettes After Sex. The mood was just right for it, the dim streetlight illuminated itself in the dark but serene neighborhood. Like always, the bus arrived at 6:20 sharp. I hopped on and headed towards the backseats, I sat down and mellowly gazed out the window.

As soon as I reached my stop, I thanked the driver and skipped off the bus. I headed towards a cafe nearby-it was actually just a coffee shop I always stopped by in the mornings. In fact- every morning I'd meet up with my bestfriend, Lee Felix, and we would walk to school together. That's because in the mornings there's not too many customers, so it's usually very quiet and tranquil.

I walked in and immediately went up to the register,
I ordered one iced americano, one hot chocolate latte, and a slice of strawberry shortcake. After I payed, I walked towards the back seating booths.

It was until 6:54am until I heard I head the door open, I saw my best friend Felix as his bright blond hair stood out to my eyes. "Felix! Over here!", I said while gesturing him to come over.

He walked to the booth with a smile and took a seat, "Hey Seungmin! Did you already order?" He asked.

"Yeah, and I already ordered your usual so don't worry about it. And of course you don't have to pay me back."
I responded with a light smile.

But Felix had given me a bit of a frown-

"Awee you didn't have to, I'll be sure to treat next time!"

He opened his schoolbag and pulled out his binder, ahh that's right- we were going to be taking our mid-terms soon.... We still had time though, it was 7:01.

After we got our "breakfast" for the day we sat down and started studying, Felix and I did this really often-it was sort of like a friendship tradition. He'd also regularly come over because I lived home alone.

It was 7:25 and Felix and I had decided to head out, thankfully the coffee shop was only a 3 minute walk from our university-so we were on time as always.

Our schedules were actually pretty decent, we shared two out of the five total classes for the day. And one of them was homeroom. It was a lecture-style class and the subject was literary arts, basically just english.

We sat down through the lecture as our professor commenced the session. However- midway through the talk, the door suddenly bursted open and a student came rushing in, making such a loud entrance that definitely attracted everyone's attention.

"HWANG HYUNJIN!" the professor shouted.

"Can you explain to me why you are more than 15 minutes late to my lecture?!" he asked with an infuriated tone.

As soon as I heard his name, I looked up from my seat to take a glance at his face. But I was a bit startled when I did. The dude looked so groggy, like he hadn't gotten proper sleep. His blond bed hair was very shambolic and his eyes bags were really standing out from how dark they were. I knew Hwang Hyunjin, but honestly- who doesn't? He's a very popular student at our school. I heard from his "victims" that he holds a bad rep as the campus heartbreaker and the campus prince...which was kind of ironic to me, judging off at his current appearance.

He walked up to the desk where the professor was standing and just casually made up an excuse. Something simple as in like he slept in and lost track of time. After receiving a whole three minute scolding in front of the class-all the dude did was just roll his eyes and dragged himself up to his seat. He was walking towards where I was sitting and just claimed the seat right behind me.

After the whole two to three hours of the lesson, class was dismissed. I got up with my bag and was about to walk up to Felix until I abruptly collided with another body.

It was guy, he was taller than me and had long blond hair. He turned around and glanced at me like I had done with him before. He grimaced at me,

"Dude- can you watch where you're going?", he said sassily.

What once an unbothered expression on my face turned into an defensive scowl.

"Excuse me? From what I'm looking at-you're the one in my way. So can you watch where you're going? Dude?"
I shot back, basically mocking what he said first.

He stood there like he was flabbergasted, and in the minute we were making eye contact-it looked like his eyes were starting to harden at me.

He just scoffed and walked away...Was he even serious just now? The guy was kinda dramatic for that. After the whole weird encounter, I just strolled up to Felix. He looked at me with wide eyes. I was confused for a minute-

"What? Why are you looking at me like I have three heads?" , I asked.

"Why would you say that? Don't you know who he is?! Haven't you heard the rumors about him?!" Felix retorted.

I laughed at his statement- "It doesn't matter if I know him or not, it can't be a big deal. It's not like I will have to talk to him again."

Or so I thought...
