SEUNGMIN'S POV:

My face felt like it was on fire while I ate kinda awkwardly across from Hyunjin, and it definitely wasn't from the spice.

How can he just cook up something for a guy he just met today and act so calm about it?! Or even worse, how could he literally force one to stay over at his own house so nonchalantly-? He's so weird...

I felt my face heat up harder the more I thought about it.

"Hey Seungmin? Is the food not good or something...?", I heard him ask.

I panicked, hoping he wouldn't get the wrong idea of anything- "What-? No, of course not- it's delicious-", I stumped with my words, but stopped before I was going to embarrass myself, and just sighed.

"Why did you even bother having me over? Is this not awkward nor bother you of the fact that I'm even here right now?", I finally asked as I put my chopsticks onto the table.

He seemed taken aback, he bought his hand up to his chin-

"I guess I just felt bad, and tired. And you're right, we just met- so let's just treat tonight as a time to actually get familiar and comfortable with one another."

"Just us two."

His words made me blush unexpectedly as I felt the crimson in my cheeks intensify. Was this the same guy who gave me an aggressive and sassy attitude during our first interaction?

My mind couldn't process most of it as I just fumbled with my response.

"Uh- yeah, well for the start, the food's really good. And thank you for letting me stay over...although I was forced.", I muttered the last part- hoping he wouldn't take the offense.

He chuckled- I snapped my head up, it was the first time he even made such a sound since we were together. We so happened to make eye contact as I stared thoughtlessly into his eyes. But one thing I couldn't deny was that he was just-beautiful...

After what felt like an eternity of silence, he put his chopsticks down and got up from his chair. I sat in my seat confused as I was being pulled back into reality. He collected our plates and walked over to the counter, placing them gently into the sink.

He turned around, now facing me. "Hey, it's already 10:18 , you might wanna start washin' up. I'll show you upstairs after the dishes."

I noticed that his voice had sounded so...soft?

"I could've done them though, it's all I can do while I'm still here...", I said.

"Nah, it's not a lot to clean so it's fine. I just finished anyway.", he said as I saw him rinsing his last chopstick before placing it in the dishwasher.

He turned around and was now walking away. I stood there lost, not knowing what I was supposed to do now-

"Hey, aren't you tired? Follow me, and bring your stuff.", he said as he started to walk up the stairs. After realizing what he said I hurriedly followed him to the second floor.

Once we reached the top of the stairs, he just kept leading me down the hallway until we stopped at the last door. "Damn you got guests rooms? ", I asked. He shook his head, "Since it's pretty rare to have people over I use those rooms for other stuff. This is actually my room.", he answered.

"Wait- why are we stopping at his room?", I thought.

He opened the door, revealing a large bedroom. The guy wasn't kidding when he said his house was more than big enough for the two of us. He walked in and motioned me to come inside. I hesitantly took a few steps in but was soon left speechless-

Had I walked into a museum or something?

The room was definitely big, but every space was decorated with artworks. Drawings, paintings, sketches, whatever you name it- were to be seen everywhere.

So he's an artist...not just a musical one.

Besides the crazily decorated walls- his room didn't seem all extraordinarily modern nor rich, for someone who has his own big house and all.

It was just a desk, an interestingly big bed, a TV, and a closet that was just built into the wall. Furniture-wise it was pretty bland, what really livened up the room was the colorful posters, art, and many other things that were either hung or displayed.

As I just tried to become more comfortable- which was kind of hard to do, I forgot that I had forgotten my stuff downstairs...

He threw his bag onto his bed and walked to his closet.

After a few minutes of his rummaging around in his wardrobe- he pulled out a few clothes.

"Hey, since I don't expect you to have any clothes to wear to sleep- you can borrow mine for the night." he said.

My eyes widened, "What? No it's fine. I can sleep in what I have now." I was only saying that because I felt bad that I was just borrowing like everything from this guy... But in reality, I really didn't want to sleep in what I had on now.

"Seungmin, you're literally in jeans, and I promise that my clothes don't smell.", he said as he tossed me a shirt and shorts.

I somehow managed to catch it and just stared at the clothes. I blinked. "Thanks.", I said.

He shook his head as he continued to search through his wardrobe, "It's nothing, the bathroom is literally the door next to this one, you can change in there."

I nodded before walking out of his room, holding the clothes in my hands. I opened to what seemed to be the nearest door- and it revealed a bathroom,  just as Hyunjin said. The bathroom was pretty nice too, a very modern and spacious one- pretty much like every other room in this house.

I placed the clothes onto the sink counter as I started to strip off my original outfit.

After taking off my hoodie, I picked up Hyunjin's shirt- I got a little nervous because it looked kind of big... but I just shrugged it off since it'd be even ruder of me to complain anyway.

After putting on the shirt, I slipped off my shorts and folded my clothes into a neat pile. I then pulled on his shorts which were surprisingly a good size for my hips and legs.

After changing, I looked at myself into the mirror. The clothes he'd given me were pretty comfortable for a sleepwear. The neckline of the shirt however was slipping off of my neck and exposing a part of my collarbone due to
how big it fitted.

I shook the thought off as I exited the bathroom and walked back to Hyunjin's bedroom.

For some reason- I didn't think to knock and just casually opened the door.

But boy did I regret that.
