DRIVER LICENSE
(continues)

Charles' POV

We waited for Clara to reply to my message with that who was going to get us.

2 hours are gone. She sees my message but doesn't reply. We call a taxi and go to the hotel.

But on our way to it, Monica's dad calls Arthur. Happily, he puts the call on speaker.

«Arthur, Monica est en prison avec Clara. Peux-tu aller les chercher à partir de là? Je paie l'amende pour la conduite sans permis. Si l'agent là-bas veut de l'argent, pouvez-vous le payer. Je vais rendre l'argent» |Arthur, Monica is in jail with Clara. Can you go and get them from there? I pay the fine for driving without a license. If the officer there wants money, can you pay it? I'm going to give the money back| his voice was trembling and a little bit nervous

«Comment elles sont en prison. C'est peut-être une blague» |How are they at the jail? This may be a joke| I get the phone and continue the conversation

«Plus d'informations plus tard de leur part. Maintenant, allez le faire»|More information later from them. Now go to do it|

The call ends.

«Can you bring us to the local police station? We have a little quick work there» Arthur tells the driver and goes to put our baggage in the hotel room and come back

«Monica texted me while I was in the room. Here. Read it»

«The officer is a Formula 1 fan. Get his attention from this. Then tell our names with Clara and that the fine is paid. If you can't get us out of there. Call my dad. The policemen help each other always. And tell the director that Clara is here with me»

«What is this?» I ask confused when I read it

«Her dad is a policeman. They probably will get them out of jail»

All the way I was trembling and couldn't believe this was real, but fast we got in front of the police station. We look at each other, leave the car, and go straight to the main entrance.

Suddenly Arthur went back to the taxi driver and I realized we hadn't paid for the ride. Fast he ran next to me and went into the police station.

The wall clock shows us it's almost midnight. Arthur's eyes meet Monica and Clara who are sitting and waiting the left hours and they can be free.

«Be quiet. We are going to talk with the officer» Arthur whispered and we continued on our way

«Excuse me. I'm here to get Monica and Clara. Here is my ID if you need it» I say and look at the policeman who came to us

«Are you? Are you Charles Leclerc?» he asks with an excited voice and freeze

«Yeah. So can I get them?» I look at him strongly

«Monica's dad paid the fine. But we can't get them out. It needs someone from their families to get them out before the hours' end. You can't. I'm sorry.»

«What if we think about something?» I show him paddock passes for my race at Vegas which is soon

«He also told me you can get them. Come with me to unlock the door and get them» he says little bit nervous and shout

I see how he moves a little bit his eye straight to the camera behind his back.

«Thank you so much» he whispered to me and smile

«Thuuu.» Monica shouts like a little child and a smile goes on her face

«Charliee» Clara winks at me and looks carefully at how the door is opening

The two girls hug us so tightly.

«Thank you, officer. Have a good night. And see you there» I make a handshake with the policeman and get out of the police station with my brother and our girlfriends

«Thank you so so so much.» Monica jumped and hugged me

«Thank you for texting your dad. Nothing of this is going to happen if you don't do this» I hug her back

«And Clara. When you go back to Monaco, the first thing you are going to do is to go on driving lessons»
