Going Bear Hunting

[ Ron's POV ]
{ 2 Days Later}

After our big haul from the treasure of Billy The Kid things felt like it was getting back to normal but I can sense from the spirits that something bad is about to happen on a big scale.  Micah came back and he was all full of himself saying how him and Arthur robbed a stage coach near Strawberry so me and Andrew didn't boast about our big haul... But Dutch told Micah and boy was he pissed. He got up in Andrew's face saying that it seemed suspicious that we found all that money and pointed his finger in his face saying that we are rats so Andrew grabbed his finger and almost broke it and promptly broke his nose with the hardest right punch I've ever seen, and I've seen some hard punches but not like this. Hopefully now he will keep his mouth shut.

I put my journel back in my satchel and got up from the scout fire cause it was my turn to guard for the night. It was time to switch out with Sean, I started to look around for that wise cracking layabout and saw him come out of Karen's tent, I smiled and shook my head. I knew they would be together in some way.

He came over and took the rifle and I went to brush Lightning cause his mane takes a tendisy to knot. When I got there I saw Andrew doing the same with Alpha, I had my brush in my hand he saw me coming up and smiled at me and I smiled back as he spoke while I began to brush Lightnings mane.

Andrew: I see we had the same idea brother.

Ron: Yeah gotta take care of the dynamic duo.

We both laughed and continued to brush until we heard Hosea yelling at us.

Hosea: Hey Ron! Hey Andrew!

We looked in his direction to see Hosea coming our way with Arthur in tow. When he got to us he spoke.

Hosea: I know you two love to hunt so I acquired this.

He pulled out a map and handed it to me as he continued to speak.

Hosea: It shows the locations of some big game animals.

As he spoke I looked at the map then to Hosea as Andrew spoke.

Andrew: Thanks Hosea. But why are you giving it to us you love to hunt.

Hosea smiled and looked to Arthur then back to us as he said.

Hosea: I'd hunt them myself but me and Arthur got's a lead on a stagecoach we can steal. I know this man who will buy stolen stagecouches as long as there isn't any witnesses.

We nodded at him as him and Arthur saddled up and headed out to do just that. Me and Andrew looked at the map and one animal on that map stood out from the rest....... The Grizzly Bear. And it's in the same area that mom said where dad was killed. And I saw Andrew looking at the same thing then we looked at eachother and I said.

Ron: You don't suppose it's the same bear do you.

Andrew shrugged and said as we mounted up on Lightning and Alpha.

Andrew: I don't know but there is one way to find out.

As we got ready to ride out I yelled out to the camp.

Ron: He are going hunting might be gone for a couple days, don't kill eachother while we are gone.

Right before we past the broken trees that are in the shape of an arch we heard hoof beats and stopped then looked back to see Sadie and Mary Beth riding up to us on the horses we helped them get. We took some of our money and spent some on them cause like like my Grandfather once said "As long as the woman in your life is happy your life is easier".

Sadie was riding a Gold Dapple Turkoman named Hera she is only 1 Year old but I managed to get it for cheap after talking down the stable master. Mary Beth is riding a Golden Palameno Throuhbred named Leonardo after he favorite painter and he was 1 Year old to again Andrew talked the stable master down on the price. Suffice to say we took him.
