It's been a few days since we came this far South and ever since we have been here Andrew has been on edge and very quiet which is weird for him but I understand why he is. There is a lot of pain here for him, Mary Beth tried to be there for him but he just sits under the big tree next to our tents just meditating and reading or writing in his journel. I just hope we can ease his pain.
I put my journal back in my satchel and adjust my clothes.

It gets pretty hot here now that we are further South. I looked over to see Andrew leaning against the big tree looking at the lake.

As I was standing there Mary Beth came up and stood next to me and I and I said.
Ron: How's he doing?
Mary Beth: He's doing better. We just need to give him time. I gonna fix him something maybe his favorite food.
Ron: You mean fried chicken and jumbilia.
Mary Beth: Yeah, could you run into town and get me the ingredients to make it?
Ron: Of course, just watch after him.
She puts her hand on my shoulder then said.
Mary Beth: Always.
After she said that she walked off as I went toward the chuck wagon when I heard Sadie. And she was mad.
Sadie: I ain't choppin' vegetables for a livin'!
Before it could go on I stepped into view and spoke.
Ron: You don't have to love...... Why don't you and me head into town, I need to get the ingredients to Andrew's favorite meal.
She looked at me as smiled as she said.
Sadie: Fried chicken and jumbilia.
Ron: Exactly. And while we are there we could plan that wedding you always wanted.
