Trying To Get Answers

[ Ron's POV ]

It's been almost a month since we have been here at Horseshoe Overlook and alot has happened but what keeps eating at my mind is that interaction me and Andrew had with Agent Milton and Agent Ross. So I decided to get more insite it's time to go back to my tribe for some answers. A I have a feeling that I should take Andrew with me cause I sense it will work with him to. Let's just hope it answers our questions.

I put my journel back in my satchel and looked up from were I sitting to see Andrew already saddled up Lightning and Alpha waiting for me to come. I told him what I was thinking and he was all In for it.

I went up to him and we mounted up and left to get our answers. We have a long way to go so we decided to leave at dusk while people were still asleep me and Andrew left a note to Sadie and Mary Beth telling were we where going and why.

It was a cold night/day the wind billing at our necks, good thing we were in our jackets. I still haven't made anything out of that bear fur but after this trip I think I will.

After half a day we pasted Emerald Ranch. Everytime we past there in the past me and Andrew always felt that there was something off about that place but we couldn't put our finger on it.

Later we came close to the Wapiti Reservation so I asked Andrew.

Ron: Since we are near the Wapiti Reservation why don't we drop by and see Rains Fall and Eagle Flies?

I've known Rains Fall and Eagle Flies since I was a boy and Rains Fall is friends with my Grandfather. I told Andrew about out relationship with our neighboring tribe cause my tribe is just a few clicks East of the Wapiti Reservation.

Andrew: Sure why not, I know it's been awhile since you been there.

When we got to the crossing we turned toward Wapiti and along the way we knew that their were scouts watching us from the trees but we didn't do anything about it.

When we got to the Reservation I saw Eagle Flies and he saw me. I jumped off Lightning and went up to him and hugged him as we talked.

Eagle Flies: It's been way to long Night Wolf ...... Who is that with you.

Before I could speak Rains Fall came and spoke.

Rains Fall: Be wary my people he looks like a trouble maker.

Me and Rains Fall hugged before he said that while some of the tribesmen aimed their bows at Andrew then I spoke.

Ron: He is a friend...... Brother actually..... Come over here Dawn Wolf.

After I said that the tribesmen took their bows off of him and had wide eyes as they saw the other half of The Famous Wolf Brothers.Andrew dismounted Alpha and came over to us and shook Eagle Flies hand then Rains Fall as Rains Fall spoke.

Rains Fall: I'm am terribly sorry I didn't know who you were. But I've heard a lot about you from Night Owl.

Ahh my Grandfather it's been awhile to hear his name it feels weird. But I was brought back from my thoughts as Andrew spoke.

Andrew: It's quite alright, I understand it isn't easy to trust people now days.

Eagle Flies: That It is. If you would excuse me I have so work to do.

We nodded to him as Rains Fall spoke.

Rains Fall: My son is troubled over the land dispute but that is for another time. Tell me why is The Wolf Brothers out this far.

Ron: We came to see Grandfather to get some guidance and decided why we were up this way we would stop by and see you and Eagle Flies.

Rains Fall: That warms this old man's heart. I appreciate that. Come let's share a pipe and talk.

We smiled at him and followed him to his tent to catch up with my old friend. After a couple hours we were getting ready to leave, as we mounted up on Lightning and Alpha Rains Fall came up to us and stood between us then said.

Rains Fall: It was good to see you again Night Wolf and it was a pleasure to meet you for the first time Dawn Wolf. Night Owl was right about you, you are an honorable man and I can tell you are a firece warrior.

Ron: That is true he is.

I said with a smile we waved to him as we began to leave the reservation and headed toward my village. After a couple minutes we rode into my village and all the people saw us and smiled and waved at us as they shouted.

Village People: Praise the God's Night Wolf and Dawn Wolf is back safe and sound.

I looked to Andrew and he looked at me and we smiled and loving being back to a place that we both call home. We dismounted Lightning and Alpha tying them to the hitching post and then made our way over to Grandfather's hut.

When we got there we saw my Grandfather standing in front of his hut. When he saw us he opened his arms and said as we hugged him.

Grandfather: It's good to see you two again it's been way to long. I'm glad to see you two well.

We parted then I spoke.

Ron: It's good to see you to Grandfather.

Andrew: It's good to see you again Chief, it's been way to long.

After Andrew said that Grandfather motioned for us to follow him in his hut. After we were in the hut he closed his blanket door and sat down then motioned for us to do the same which we did.

Grandfather: I know why you two have come.... You seek answers well I have prepared the ceremonial potion. Remember you both will see the same thing like you share one mind.

He picked up two bowls of the potion then aimed them in mine and Andrew's direction as he spoke.

Grandfather: The question is. Are you two ready.

Me and Andrew looked at eachother then back to Grandfather and nodded to him taking the potion then we drank it. We began to feel light headed and then pasted out.

The next thing we saw the main street of Rhodes. Then heard a shot, we turned around to see a hole in Sean's head. Then it shifted to a grove with a big tree with a lake in the background we walked to the tree and touched it but as we did the vision shifted again to a cave in the middle of a forest with screams coming from it, we got close to it and yet again the vision changed again to a big plantation in the swamp, we stood at the front gate and saw a placard that had the name of the Plantation but before we could read it we came out of the vision.

When our eyes started to focus we looked around to see that we were back in camp laying near our tents. We were dumbfounded at what we seen. Was it a warning or did it mean nothing we didn't know. But one thing is for sure we are gonna be laying very close attention to every detail now.
