Can't be myself

Chapter 2

"Mia! How was your birthday?" Lexi asked as I walked into the school yard. "It was ok." I said trying not to start blushing, especially not in front of my mother. Once we got close to the school Lexi asked if I wanted to hang out after school. I said yes of course. "We pray to (Father) and we pray with our peers. We pray to the Father and we pray with the Son and his Church. God is Father, but also Son and the Spirit in unity with them. God is in heaven, our ultimate destination." Said the teacher, I sat and listened, remembering that it will be our second last lesson before our graduation ceremony for the sixth graders, then no more hell.

Me and Lexi laughed and talked about what school we are going to after this. She is being put into a public school, I'm going to another catholic school. For the past few days, I have found her more pretty they before and also I blush a lot when I am with her. I think I'm starting to like her! But I can't tell mom, after what she did to Josh, I really hope he gets me out of this hellhole like he said he would. "May all students report to the auditorium for the ceremony!" Said the principal over the intercom. Me and Lexi rushed to the auditorium and found our seats. "I would like to congratulate our sixth grade scholars for completing the grade!" Said the principal as we walked on stage and bowed/curtsied and walked off the stage. We exited the auditorium and went to the school yard.

Mia's dad picked us up and brought us to Mia's, we pretty much just played video games as usual, but we also watched some videos on YouTube, and they were GL and BL stories. "Lex, my friend and his boyfriend are coming over!" Lexi's dad, Mason said as she asked, "Who?" "Josh Caden and his boyfriend." He said, and I just thought how many times am I gonna see my brother? More than the last 8 years guaranteed. "Isn't that your brother?" Lexi asked me, "yea" I said. "Come on in, we'll hangout in the upstairs living room, just gotta grab some stuff from my room, k" Mason said as he went to his room to the left of us, Josh walked down the stairs and Chase followed behind, "How many times am I gonna see you?" Josh asked as I laughed. "You know this kid?" Mason asked as he walked towards the stairs, "Yea, she's my little sister!" Josh said.

We hung out for an hour longer, Lexi ended up falling asleep on my shoulder! I blushed and slightly nudged her to wake up. She woke up and blushed, most likely from embarrassment. She ran to ask her dad if he could drop me off. We drove into my driveway and I said goodbye and ran into the house. Mom and Kent were in their room, i really don't want to imagine what they are doing. I went up the stairs and to my room. I started thinking about Lexi, just the thought of her makes me blush. Her brown hair, dark skin, blue eyes, she's so pretty! I'll get to see her one more time, because we have to go to school tomorrow, just to collect our stuff.
