Nobody's POV

Its been months since Gregory and Evan met and their friendship has only grown stronger. Gregory's feelings are at an all-time high and Evan doesn't know how to deal with his feelings either, and Gregory's constant playful flirting is toying with his brain.

One day, Gregory knocks on Evan's door, taking a deep breath. "Please don't fuck this up, Gregory." Gregory says to himself, praying to every god out there that this will go well. Evan's younger sister, Elizabeth, opens the door. "Hey, Elizabeth— i-is Evan here?"

"Yep!" Elizabeth yips, with maybe a little too much enthusiasm. Elizabeth turns away from the door. "EVANNNNN!! YOUR BOYFRIEND IS HERRRREEEEE!" She screams, and Gregory's cheeks flush a bright red, but he can't help himself and starts giggling.

Evan rushes downstairs and ushers Elizabeth away, "He's not my boyfriend!" Elizabeth gasps and starts fixing her platinum blonde hair. "You ruined my pigtails!" She exclaims. "It's not like they looked good anyway." Evan scoffs.

Gregory watches, smiling. He wishes he could have family moments like this, or just have a sibling. But no, he has overworked, exhausted Vanessa who is barely present at home anyway, and it's not like he has a dad, at least not anymore.

Evan turns to Gregory, swallowing hard. "S-Sorry, Greg.. um, what are you doing here?" "I'm here to talk to you— maybe you'd wanna go walk around outside?" Gregory asks politely. "Um, who are you and what have you done with Gregory Glamrock?" Gregory laughs. "Just because Im usually impolite, does not mean I can't be polite, you dick!"

"Yeah yeah, anyways, sure, yeah. Let me just run upstairs," Evan says. "Don't keep me waiting, boyfriend." Gregory flirts playfully, winking. Evan rolls his eyes and his cheeks flush a subtle pink that Gregory doesn't fail to notice. "So, he is your boyfriend!" Elizabeth says nosily from inside.

"He's joking around, Liz." Evan says before running off and upstairs. Gregory waits by the door, looking around. He looks at a specific picture frame of Evan's entire family. A father, mother, two sons and a daughter. The mother was a platinum blonde lady with the brightest green eyes that Gregory's ever seen. Evan's eyes were always a bit more dull and dim, but that didn't lessen Gregory's attraction to them. Plus, Evan had one blue eye in addition to the green one. The father a dark brunette with dull blue eyes and littering freckles on his nose. The oldest son had brunette hair and blue eyes, smirking mischievously. Evan was standing there as well, with fluffy and a little messy brunette hair and blue and green eyes. Then Elizabeth, with her platinum blonde hair and bright green eyes, bright smile and rosy cheeks.

Evan comes thumping down the stairs, slapping a Post-It note on the door before slamming the door shut behind him as he walked out. He was wearing a cute, cozy pink sweater and gray sweatpants. "So, lead the way!" Evan says. Gregory smiles and begins walking, with Evan following close behind, rubbing his hands together anxiously. What does Gregory wanna talk about?

"So," Gregory starts. Evan looks at him. "So." Evan follows. "I have something to tell you, and it might be a lot to take in at first, but.. I hope this won't change how you see me."

"You're making this seem as if you're getting arrested."

"Not even close."

"I wouldn't be surprised, you'd probably get arrested for something stupid like trespassing." Evan deadpans.

Gregory chuckles and Evan's giggles follow. "So, you aren't getting arrested for trespassing?" "Not close. Why, wanna guess?" Gregory inquires. "Hmmm," Evan hums in thinking, looking up at the last of the straying shades of orange, red, yellow and pink watercolors in the sky.

"You forgot to do your homework again?" "No." Gregory laughs. "You failed all your classes?" "I'm not that dumb." "... I don't know, what is it?"

Gregory takes the biggest, deepest breath that he's ever breathed in his life.

"I like you."
