Third Person POV.

Gregory brings Evan to bed and they cuddle for a while until Gregory hears Evan's breathing evening out. He sighs, his mind racing. How could he help Evan to understand just how... desirable he is? Gregory can barely control himself around him.

He strokes Evan's hair, his mind wandering and lingering. Then, Gregory suddenly gets up and grabs the blade fro the bathroom. He marches to the window, and hurls it. Shutting the window, he sits on the edge of the bed and thinks for a while.

In the morning..

Evan wakes up with his head on Gregory's chest. He wipes the drool at the corner of his mouth, sitting up.

The memories of last night are flooding back and suddenly he's suffocating, drowning in his own thoughts once more. He looks outside, and the sun is just peeking over the horizon. He wonders what Gregory thinks of him now. Does Gregory think he's mental? Unstable? Sick?

Maybe he's a teensy unstable. But only a teensy.

Evan stumbles tiredly to the bathroom to retrieve his blade and finds it missing. He glared at Gregory in the corner of his eye before shutting the door to the bathroom and staring in the mirror.

He looks awful, bandages on his wrist, red lines circling his eyes. His skin is pale and he wonders if he's already beyond the realm of life. He pats his face and sighs with half-relief and half-disappointment that he's still here. Alive.

He brushes his teeth to get the sickening feeling out, only it doesn't change anything. Evan climbs back into bed onto Gregory's chest and listens to his heartbeat. The sound of Gregory's heartbeat lulls him into the twilight-y phase just before he succumbs to the depths of sleep. His mind still wanders. Will he ever get better? He doesn't think so.

Evan's on a run. He runs silently down the winding path in the park, staring at his feet. He wonders if this'll make him lose weight. He hopes so. He bumps into one of Gregory's friends. It's a boy, with black curls and yellow-green eyes.

"Oh, lookie here, it's Gregory's most prized possession." Cassidy drawls monotonously.

"Err, what?"
"Gregory's obsessed with you, can't you tell?"
"Who the fuck are you?"
"Cassidy."
"Oh.. I think he's mentioned you."

Cassidy frowns. "Only mentioned? Wow, what friend he is. At least you're adorable, you have the cutest eyes." Cassidy coos and Evan can feel the heat flaming in his cheeks. "So, whaddya doing here, going for a run?" Cassidy inquires, leaning against a tree.

"Yeah, um.. getting my mind of something."
"Ooh, Gregory piss you off?"
"What? No!"
"Aww."

Evan glances around. Cassidy's a... gift. He thinks, somewhat sarcastically.

"So, what is it, then?" Cassidy leans closer in anticipation. "It's personal." And Cassidy's shoulders are slumping with disappointment. ".. 'Kay. So, tell me about yourself." Cassidy drawls casually, looking at a little girl having a tantrum and running from her parents.

"Um.. I'm Evan—"
"I know that."
"Damn, okay! I like music, I play the piano, I have a douchebag brother and weirdo sister— Err, my favorite color is a muted blue. Uh, I'm gay, I guess." Evan rambles quickly, plopping on a bench. "So, we have some things in common. I like music, I play electric guitar, my favorite color is black, and I'm super, undeniably, disgustingly gay." Cassidy smirks at Evan, and he's laughing.

Evan looks at Cassidy with his dull eyes. He thinks he's cool. "So, now we're best friends and we can annoy the shit out of your good-for-nothing boyfriend." Cassidy deadpans, wrapping an arm around Evan's shoulders.

There's silence for a while.

"Have you guys railed yet?"

Evan's face goes pomegranate red.

"WHAT?!"
