"You..." a low growl was heard as Ophelia as she exited the girl's dormitory.

"Now, look-"

"Save it!" Blaise hissed, grabbing Ophelia's arm and dragging her up the spiral staircase and out of the common room.

"Do you know how embarrassing that was!" Blaise seethed as he shoved her down an empty corridor. "I had no idea what I was saying!"

Ophelia couldn't contain her laughter any longer. She burst out laughing, trying to stifle it by covering her mouth, but it slipped through her fingers

"Are you laughing?" Blaise fumed.

Ophelia shook her head giggling. "I'm sorry!" she exclaimed. "But seeing the calm and cool-tempered Blaise go over to the moon for a girl is everything I ever wanted."

"I'm going to get you back for this, Malfoy," Blaise warned.

"Please! You're acting as if I set your clothes on fire. All I did was have Daphne help you with your homework," Ophelia said innocently.

"Your homework, you mean," Blaise hissed, taking out a parchment and shoving it into Ophelia's hands. Her now finished homework.

Ophelia couldn't help but burst into a fit of giggles. When she returned from detention yesterday, she discovered Blaise sitting alone at one of the tables in the common room. She joined him, deciding it was best to start her own homework. Soon after, Daphne Greengrass approached, and Ophelia seized the opportunity to make her sit with Blaise and help him with his homework, even though it was actually Ophelia's homework in the first place.

"Look, you just need a little push," Ophelia grinned. "So what did you two talk about?"

"That is none of your business," Blaise taunted.

"Oh... I see," Ophelia's smile remained, but her lips were pressed together tightly. She understood what Blaise was up to. He was aware that she would be curious about their conversation and now he was using that as leverage. Fortunately, Ophelia had a secret of her own that she could withhold from him. "Fine, two can play at that game," she challenged.

Blaise's gaze bore into Ophelia with suspicion, his eyes narrowing.

"I suppose I won't tell you what happened with Potter and I last night," Ophelia taunted as well.

His eyes shot up, his curiosity piqued.

"Something happened?" Blaise said, leaning in.

Ophelia shook her head smirking, "You first."

Blaise scoffed. "You know what, I'll probably find out later," he said, walking past her.

"Yeah? Well, I can just ask Daphne!" Ophelia yelled out as he headed back to the common room.

With a chuckle, Ophelia turned around and headed towards the Great Hall. She quickly spotted Potter and his friends, and a surge of excitement rushed through her as she made her way over to join them.

"Morning!" she said happily, sitting next to Potter.

"Erm--morning," Potter said awkwardly.

"Sleep well?" Ophelia asked curiously.

"Fine, I suppose," Potter said, glancing at Weasley and Granger.

Their heads tilted in bewilderment.

"Did you not tell them?" Ophelia leaned in whispering in Potter's ear.
