The morning came with an unusual tranquility. Silence enveloped everything as Ophelia awoke on Monday. She was unsure of her feelings--fear or exhilaration. She was now Harry Potter's girlfriend, disregarding all the rules she'd established for herself. But it didn't bother Ophelia. For once, she was experiencing true happiness.
"Why are you so smiley?" Draco asked when Ophelia exited the girl's dormitory.
"It's a beautiful morning, can't I be happy?" she grinned.
Draco's face scrunched in disgust. "What did you do?" he said suspiciously.
"What makes you think I did something?" Ophelia said she couldn't stop smiling.
"Whatever," Draco said simply, turning around.
Ophelia grabbed his arm. "There is something I have to tell you before I tell anyone else," she said innocently.
"That is?" Draco said cautiously.
Ophelia giggled to herself. "So Harry and I --("Don't tell me..." Draco said shocked.)-- are dating."
"NO!" Draco shouted angrily, causing their fellow students to stare. "No! No! You can't. I forbid it!"
"Okay, calm down," Ophelia chuckled. "You're the one who told me to follow my heart."
"I didn't think you were actually going to do it," Draco grumbled and sighed. "Well... at least you're happy."
Ophelia grinned, ignoring her brother's distasteful expression.
"But this doesn't mean I'll be friendly with Saint Potter," Draco spat and turned walking up the stone staircase.
"Are you going to tell Blaise?" Draco asked, eyeing her from the side. "Or are two still fighting?"
"Erm..." Ophelia said uncertainly as they exited the Slytherin common room. When Harry told her Blaise mentioned something to him, she thought he had told Harry she was working with the Dark Lord but she was shocked to hear Blaise tell him about her feelings toward him. Perhaps Blaise wasn't as angry as he seemed to be. "I'll talk to him."
Draco's expression quickly turned into a frown as he glanced behind her. Looking back, Ophelia's face lit up when she saw Harry waiting by the stairs.
"Harry!" she exclaimed happily, hopping toward him. "What are you doing here?"
"Waiting for you, of course," he said grinning. "How did you sleep?"
"Wonderfully, best sleep in years," Ophelia beamed but noticed Harry glancing behind her with a twisted look. Following his gaze, she saw Draco glaring daggers at him.
"Potter," Draco spat. "If I hear you--"
"Let's go to breakfast, Harry," Ophelia said, grabbing Harry's hand and pulling him up the stone steps.
"So he knows then?" Harry chuckled.
"Yeah, he's really happy about it, if you could tell," Ophelia said sarcastically as the two entered the Grand Staircase.
"Oh yes, it was very apparent," Harry smirked.
"Did you tell Ron and Hermione?" Ophelia asked.
Harry shook his head. "They were already asleep by the time I got back to the dormitory."
"I see..." Ophelia said slowly. "Speaking of telling people... What about Cho Chang?"
