The Temporala Family

My name is Haruki Temporala. The year is 2224. I'm not sure what day it is.

I was just a kid when it had happened. My parents got stuck in a time loop.

My father was a scientist from the Temporala family. It was a well known family that studied time since it was founded. He studied time like every other member that was born in the family, but he tried to be different. He tried to revolutionize the world, and with this, he tried to make a Time Machine. Something that everyone thought would only be seen in books of fiction, I dont think theres anything more generic than that, but what can I say? My father was kind of a genius, even though he acted quite stupid.

At the time it had happened, I was sleeping. My father, decided to test the Time Machine instead of getting someone to do it for him, im guessing he was too excited to get someone to do that for him. He wanted to show it to the whole world. It was being broadcasted on TV. He didn't wake me up nor bring me with him because he apparently wanted to surprise me. Atleast thats what I could think of the note he left me to when I wake up.

But it all went wrong, and I couldn't do anything about it. My father and my mother both got stuck in a time loop after the Time Machine exploded. I am not really sure what caused it. But it was definetly the artifact that was used on the time machine, the "Lunar Clock". The Lunar Clock is an artifact that belongs to the Temporala family since very long ago. It was something not many people knew about, only people that were really close or were born into the Temporala family.

It is a very powerful artifact made by the Temporala family. But, it was said to be a bit too powerful. You see, the Lunar Clock, atleast from what I know, exists for about 200 years. It was deemed to powerful, powerful enough for people to try to steal it. It was about 200 years ago, a mayor of a city called "Lunar City" attempted to steal the Lunar Clock. Basically, the "Lunar City" has this name because it was the city where the Lunar Clock was kept before being stolen. It was recovered later on by someone, I dont know who exactly, but it was being kept somewhere else after that incident.

So, you might be asking, how did my father get his hands on the Lunar Clock? Well, he stole it. Simple enough. Yeah.. And then he replaced it with a false replica.. And it worked. Somehow. Don't ask me how, as I said before, my father may be stupid, but he is also a genius, maybe the false replica he did was a bit similar, I dont know. You might be thinking that the security on where it was being kept was high or something, yeah, it was. But not enough to stop my father, I guess. But it worked, so.. Yeah.

Well, after the Time Machine exploded, as I said before, my parents got stuck in a time loop. The police of course came to investigate the area. They were said to not touch the parts of the Time Machine though, because of the risk of getting stuck too. Well, after they were done with the investigation, they left. I was still at the lab though. I was kind of paralyzed. Maybe because of fear, or what I should do now, and the fact that I probably wont ever see my parents again.

Until I heard a strange noise, that is. It was coming from the parts of the Time Machine. Though I was not quite sure if I should touch those, I took the risk. It was the Lunar Clock. It's like it was calling for me, or something. Im not quite sure. Well, I took it with me, I thought of it as a "last gift" of my parents before they were gone. I have it till this day, somehow. Because after the family found out what happened to the Clock, they went back to the lab in search of it. They of course also came to ask me questions. Somehow I got through it without being deemed a suspect, they thought the Lunar Clock was gone with the explosion, well, but the truth is, it wasnt.

And now im here, with a powerful artifact that I dont even know what it can do, why it was calling me, and im stuck. I dont know what to do. Will I keep this thing for my whole life? Should I just give it back? But it was calling for me, no? Well, I dont know. The only person I have left is my Grandma, but enough about me, I need to go now, I have priorities you know? I need to go to school, I dont want to cause my Grandma any trouble, so I better get going now. I'll catch you later.
