2 Days Later.... 📍: Everett High School Monday. Lunchtime ———————————
I walk to go meet spirit in the hallway
she walks out of class and comes up to me
"heyyy, bathroom?"i ask smiling
"mhm" spirit just mumbles and nods her head
We walk to the bathroom and i notice her quieter than usual
Spirit walks into the little stall with cupcakes on the door so i go to the big stall next to her
"lemme take a few hits first then i'll pass it" she whispers
"alrighttt"
after like a minute she passes a baddazzled battery with a big chief cart on it under the stall
i grab it and take a long pull then exhale and take another one
i take a few more until i feel like i have a good high then i pass it back underneath the stall to spirit and start spraying myself down with a bath and body works 'dream bright' perfume
Spirit comes out of the stall after and starts spraying herself down too
"lets go find the boys" i say to her as i leave the bathroom
"umm i think im gonna just go to the library instead"
i look at her weirdly
"we can go get them and go eat in there ?"
"nahh it's cool" she shrugs and walks down the hall
"what's wrong with you ?" i ask grabbing her arm
"nothing" she says with her head down
"girl i can see it all over your face that you're not okay"
"Kams been mad dry lately" spirit sighs
"how? ain't yall in the same house"
"exactly- it's weird as fuck tho like he only talks to me when he has to"
"you think he's just stressin about the season or something" i ask leaning up against a locker
"to be honest best ion even kno"
"you wanna come to my house ? my momma misses you" i laugh tryna lighten the mood
