"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" You cursed as a cannon tore through the hull of your ship, flinging debris and bodies everywhere. "Fire back you fucking idiot!" You shoutingly hissed at your girls as they scrambled around, now doing as they were told.

The first cannon was fired from your ship but it completely missed its mark. Completely missed the massive marine navel ship barring down at you. It had come out of nowhere, despite its massive size. Had been firing at you before you even knew what was happening.

Another cannon ripped through your ship, sending you and most of your crew flat on your asses.

This was a battle you wouldn't win. It was a fact. Nothing you did was going to change that course.

You pulled yourself to your feet as the massive ship came to a halt beside yours, the marines getting ready to storm aboard. "Captian--captian! What the hell do we do?" One of your girls shouted, her eyes wide in terror. A newer girl. One who had recently replaced a founding member of your crew. A member you hadn't killed this time.

You were no coward. Would never run away from a fight, no matter the outcome, but you had something to live for now--at least for a little while. Someone who was waiting around for you to find him again in three weeks time.

Your reputation would have to take this hit, no matter how much it hurt you to do it to yourself.

"Run." Was all you said before bolting towards your room. The chaos that ensued as you slammed through the doors that led to the inner workings of your ship was disheartening. The sound of your girls screaming and fighting and dying as marines hopped aboard.

The door you had just run through slammed open once more, a man shouting for you to freeze, which you did no such thing.

It took you all too long to make it to your chambers, which upon opening the door, you found now sported a hole in the wall, giving you a good view of the blue sky and equally blue sea. You rushed for your bed and grabbed up the silver box you had kept hidden there for nearly two months now. A box which held the most precious treasure you currently held within your possession.

You turned to leave only to find a hulking man standing there wearing a white suit and jacket with blue and gold epaulets that lay draped over his shoulders. He held a long, wicked-looking sword, ready to be used on you.

This was a vice admiral. Someone you did not want to tangle with under normal circumstances, and definitely didn't want to fight while your ship was sinking.

"Captian Y/N, I've been looking for you for a long, long time." You kept your features as bored and as cold as you could, placing a hand on the hilt of your sword.

"I would say I was flattered, but I believe lying is a sin." The vice admiral gave a hardly amused huff of air.

"Despite your unimpressive bounty, you seem to have a nag for destroying marine vessels--torturing the poor soldiers on board. Taking trophies." He said looking about your room at all the jewels and nicknacks you decorated it with. Trophies as he said. "A nag to do the same thing to civilian vessels as well."

"Humm, yes, that does sound like me. Now, as riveting as this conversation is, I do fear I have to be going." You said, going to make for the door only to be stopped by that all too sharp blade he carried, which pressed dangerously against your throat.

"There was a passage ship. Set sail about a month ago. Do you happen to know anything about that?" Your grip on the box in your hand tightened. Fuck.

"Hum...I'm going to need more detail than that I'm afraid." You hissed as the blade split a small section of skin as the vice admiral moved closer. So close he could bare his teeth in your face and you could smell the smoking air he gave off, like he had just lit a cigarette before boarding your ship.
