Summary: The East Blue is a lonely place and Buggy the Clown, feared Captian of the Buggy Pirates, is just as lonely as you. Just as hurt and betrayed. So when you stumble upon him in a dirty bar, you two hit it off immediately. An immediate attraction that leads to the creation of the agreement. But can the agreement change? Can you forget the hurts from the past and change with it?
The sea was a solitary place. A place made even more isolating and hostile towards those seeking advancer and glory. Pirates were brutal and overall beastly folk and their captains even more so. You knew this common fact of life. Had known it when you gathered your crew of criminals who would stab you in the back the first chance they got, and set sail looking for something--anything--to fill that space which never seemed satisfied. To get rid of the feeling of being utterly and terrifyingly alone--hated. Something everyone had thrown away when they had had their fill.
When you stumbled upon a pirate captain familiar only in reputation at one of the bars you often frequented when wishing to be away from that isolating sea, you saw something in him that had you pausing in ripping his head off.
You saw that you both were feared on the seas--both dangerous. Saw that you both were just as insane as the other. Saw that you both had that--something missing from your lives. Something that gnawed and ate at each of you, leaving a deep, bloody hole.
The fellow captain, Buggy the Clown, must have sensed it too. Must have sensed something because he offered you a seat at his table and drink in a dramatic fashion and you, surprisingly, took it. You who attacked or, hopefully, killed any and all other pirates on sight, no matter how big or small their crew was--their bounty.
The more you too drank, the more it became painfully obvious that you two were sides of the same coin in one way or another. The more you were reminded of just how lonely you were. The more you felt pulled towards this flashy fool. A pull that had you both finding a hidden alleyway and fucking one another blind to try and chase away that hole. A hole that, for better or for worse, seemed all that much smaller when he was around.
You didn't see the clown for a long while after that, only ever hearing whispers on the wind about his escapades--a village here, a town there. All wiped out by his band of freaks. You kept yourself busy as well, attacking marine and pirate ship alike, finding loot and treasures when you could.
You did it all just to keep the memory of him thrusting mercilessly into you deep down--kept the fact you had been ever the less lonely in his presence as equally under lock and key.
But, one day, when you were attacking a particularly large marine ship, a gag of freaks came rushing aboard and, their captain with them, it all came rushing to the surface--every memory and feeling, just overfollowed out of you. And those green-blue eyes full of such crazy insanity and danger did nothing to help quell your lonely feelings.
The Marines were easily squashed by the two invading pirate crews and soon you were left with your bloodthirsty underlings and Buggy's circus troop. Your first mate tried egging you on, tried to spur you into giving the order to attack, but you did quite the opposite. You called your pirates off. You commanded them to take whatever they had looted and get back onto your ship.
