I'm going to be updating this book from now on! Yay! This and my "Try Me" (book 2 of fifty shades of friends
--------------------•••------------------

As I pull back into my driveway after dropping off Courtney, I let out a stressed sigh as I exit my car and begin my way up to my front door. I get inside and come to find Cameron sitting on the couch watching TV and a big bowl of popcorn waiting on the coffee table.

"You're back!" He smiles and I couldn't help but feel a little giddy inside.

"Yeah. I had to go, um... run an errand." I lie.

There was no way I was about to tell him where I really was. If he found out, he'd immediately rush over to Courtney's side and leave me. It sounds selfish, I know, but I needed to spend some time with him. Because every time he wasn't with me, he was with Courtney. I just wish things weren't so complicated.

"What are you standing there for?" He chuckled and pats his hand on the couch cushion beside him. "Come sit. I picked out a movie already."

I smile at him and join him. He pressed play and one of my favorite movies began to play. "LOL" with Miley Cyrus in it. I don't like her as a person, but in this movie, I really wanted to be her. She reminded me of myself sometimes in the movie. About how she's in love with her best friend and couldn't express her love because of many obstacles in the way. What I can't relate to, is that she actually does eventually get the guy. That would never happen to me.

"I thought you didn't like this movie." I say playfully poking his chest making him chuckle as his arm wrapped around me to pull me closer.

My heart began to race as his free hand snaked onto my lap but only to end up in the popcorn bowl on the other side of me. He looks down at me with a warm smile but my fake smile in return was of disappointment.

CAMERON'S POV

The movie ends and I find a sleeping Alyssa laying on my shoulder. I smile and kiss her forehead before slowly slipping out, from under her and resting her head on a pillow. Thankfully she doesn't wake up.

My phone dings, telling me I had a new text. After digging it from under the couch cushion, I find a text from Courtney telling me she couldn't sleep making me laugh quietly and faintly to myself. I knew exactly what she meant. I look back down at Alyssa but I'm going to admit, with all the affection her and I exchange, it makes me feel needy. I usually have to just ignore it, but something was different tonight so I needed this taken care of. I text her back that I was on my way and grab my car keys and make my way to her house for some well-needed sex. Hopefully Alyssa won't be too upset to find me gone tomorrow morning.

ALYSSA'S POV

I wake up to the sound of lawn mower's running all around the neighborhood. People can be so freaking annoying! It's Saturday! Let me sleep in and enjoy it.

As I wake up further and come out of my groggy state, I remember last night falling asleep on Cam, half way through the movie. Question is, where is he? I grab my phone off the coffee table an arm-lengths away from where I was placed on the couch. I squint at the bright light it projects in my face. I hate when that happens.

2 new texts and a missed call from Matt. One text was from Cam, I obviously was more excited to read his text first. I type in my password and open the message. 'Sorry, Courtney needed me in the middle of the night. haha. text you later. :)'

Ugh! Yes she's my best girl friend, but why the heck does she have to be such an annoying, needy, b*tch?!! I'm so sick of being the second in his life. I've been friends with Cameron since we were 3 & 4, playing together on the playground at our old church. She didn't know Cam till a year ago. -_-
