My eyes begin to flutter open but am forced to squint at the bright flashes of light from the TV, blinding me. It was dark in the room... how long was I out? Hell, when the heck did I even fall asleep?

I forget my pointless thoughts as I slowly lift my head off of the moving pillow underneath me. I look and see Cam still passed out and his arm still around me.

I sat there and just admired him. His face, eyes, hair, jaw line, ugh! Everything about him made me feel so alive and crazy. My blue eyes travel to the sight of his perfect, plump lips delicately pressed together, inviting me in. At least I wish they really were.

That's when the idea popped in my head. He was asleep. And by asleep, I mean sound asleep. He would never know, right?

Without giving it any more debate, I reach up his limp figure with my lips being attracted further and further towards his by the second. I slowly place my lips against his and enjoy the feeling. The feeling was so right; only if he would realize that. I slowly back up from him and stand up from our sleeping position and turn off the TV. He didn't move a muscle thankfully. If he were to wake up just a couple seconds ago, I'd surely be doomed. As I attempt to walk towards the stairs of my loft to head down to the main level of my room, I stop when I hear Cam's phone notification go off. I couldn't help but peek over on the ground and read the screen. It was a text from Courtney that read: Where are you?! You said you'd pick me up!

Dang that girl, always depending on others to stop everything and come to her rescue. Ever since she was arrested at one of the parties last summer, her parents took her car away and they should've learned by now how much of a mistake that was because now she hounds everyone for a ride to, God knows where.

I set Cam's phone back down where it was resting before and continue to sneak down the stairs and slip on my shoes. I grab my car keys off my dresser and my phone beside it and head out the door, then out the front door and drive off. As I drive, I reminisce about the lingering feeling of my lips against his. Even though he wasn't conscious to experience it as well, I know there was sparks. At least I'll know now what it felt like. I do feel guilty about stealing a kiss from my best friend's boyfriend but I just can't help myself much longer. Something tells me this year holds a ton of where that came from. I was sick of holding back. Time to get some of these secrets I've been holding onto, out in the open.

I continue to drive all the way until I reach the only doctor's office within the area of LA. I pull into the dark parking lot to see Courtney sitting on one of the curbs on her phone, looking panicked and alert.

"Need a ride?" I shout across the passenger seat of my car and she looks up from her phone with fear but quickly turns to a smile and gets up and gets into my car.

"How'd you know where I was?" She rolled her eyes and laughed under her breath as I began to drive back to her neighborhood.

"I seen your text on Cam's phone."

"Where's Cam?" She continued to question. Her voice becoming a little more defensive each time she asked another question.

"He's sleeping."

"Where? His house?"

"No, mine." I answer cautiously.

"Why is he always at your house?" She attempted to mumble under her breath, facing the opposite direction from me, but she ended up saying it in a normal tone.

"Uh... we're best friends Court...? This isn't exactly news?" I question giggling softly and nervously.

"Whatever..." She says looking away from me again and the rest of the drive to her house was silent and awkward.

I had no clue what her problem was. We almost always get along, her and I. She knows how much of a best friend Cam is to me as she is. I'm the one that even introduced them. Oh, I forgot to mention that. Yeah, I introduced my best friend, who I have a major crush on, to my other best friend.

Last year Courtney moved here from Dallas, Texas and her and I were immediate best friends. I of course tried playing the nice person card by introducing her to all of my friends so she could have some more friends besides me. And that of course included Cameron. They were only friends at first until one night I went over to Cam's to surprise him with some snacks so we could have a movie night, but ended up walking in on him and Courtney doing the nasty. Yeah, not a pretty picture. I mean, he was obviously a pretty picture but just them.... together... ew. Anyways, so from there on they began dating. They broke up 3 times within just that one year but always ended up back together because apparently the power of make up sex is stronger than them. I always suspect Courtney only using Cameron for his now, vine fame, but she's my best girl friend. I can't think that about a friend... right?

I pull into Courtney's drive way and she gets out of my car without even saying goodbye.
